Say, what other classic cartoons/comics did you see other than Astérix and Obélix? Personally I remember seeing Vickie Viking and Atom Ant.

The one i loved the most as a kid was Tintin!!!! I had a hard time getting ahold of comics as a small child who did Not Care For Superheroes at All, but one of the libraries had a lot of Tintin and Asterix.

Cartoons are a really mixed bag. I used to have a lotttt of dvds as a kid: Looney Toons, Wallace & Gromit, Tom & Jerry... and also there was one with the short "Felix the cat and the goose that laid the golden egg", which i remember the most for some reason.

TV had Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Talespin..... Gummi bears......... (wasn't rly a big fan of any of these but my options at the time were Limited)

I was (am) obsessed with the moomins but funnily enough i found i really dont like the cartoon? prolly cause i didnt grow up with it but it feels like such a tonal difference from the books! the cartoon is much more.... saccharine than what I like. I like the comics tho, theyre fun and they have more crime.

Anyway a couple years back i started reading a bit of Duck comics (thanks modmad) and I tried to read Lucky Luke a while back? I wanna check out Spirou & Fantasio next but I wouldn't know where to start, ahah
