thoughts on natlan. pretty negative!

i really do enjoy the aesthetics and the music from the natlan trailer. i do. i like the modern takes on these characters outfits and designs. but i FUUUUCKING hate how they're all so pale. literally all of them. none of them have even an iota of melanin except maybe one or two characters, when 95% of them should lmao

ESPECIALLY the fucking archon man. i'm furious over them being pale as hell. otherwise, i enjoyed everything else, despite me being fucking scared on how natlan's story & population/demographics are gonna be handled lmao

if they make the enemies brown again while the playable characters are white i think i actually might quit genshin altogether

a few thoughts on hotd 1x10 because either i write them down or im gonna be sick fr

so they wrote daemon choking his niece / wife over the prophecy in a rage of fury ? so much for a character that's supposed to be grey and whose only redeemable trait is that he LOVES his family (and then it's not addressed AT ALL — next time he's when rhaenyra he lovingly grabs her hands to tell her about luke's fate)

but they had the fucking audacity to have aemond kill lucerys on accident? you're telling me that the old hag just went and murdered luke on arrax while aemond and his psycho ass was yelling no and even cried when it happened?

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE THOUGHT PROCESS BEHIND THIS ???????????? why are they so fucking keen on making daemon as bad as possible (him killing rhea, choking rhaenyra when he's never put a hand on her even when she was an active threat to him) but they keep whitewashing the fucking greens? according to the writers alicent is nothing but a victim of manipulative men and the patriarchy, aegon is a victim of child neglect with daddy issues that makes 'mistakes' because he doesn't know what 'RAPE' is (sara hess words, not mine) and aemond is a kinslayer by ACCIDENT ???? the same aemond who wanted nothing but revenge and murdered his own nephew (a CHILD) while mocking him

i don't give a single fuck about daemon being evil because he is !! he is insane and chaotic and reckless but he would never hurt his family especially rhaenyra and that's the only thing that's redeemable about him !!!!!! but i guess they truly want to ruin their most charismatic character (and it pains me to even say this but considering the shitty writing on this ep i wouldn't even be surprised if they decide to fuck up all the way through and include the n*ttl*s thing because rhaenyra losing her children is not enough for the writers — her husband must also hurt her ?????) and for what reason?? that men are evil and women are just victims???????? THAT'S NOT THE TAKE THEY THINK IT IS

anyways — it made no fucking sense and i'm not sure i'll be able to keep watching the show once s2 premieres
