#its just absoljtely crazy to me #its shaped so much of their soxiety obviously.#imagine hearing about any other random country having segregation until mid-20ty century #and still suffering the social adjustment #youd be like ah yes the different country's problems #but then when it's the usa it feels like we? they? i? forget they Had Segregation #like thats one big piece of history. thats one big forming piece of history there #thats never even remarked on as history when comparing the usa to other countries in terms of racism #(when coming from the usa)
