This is all autonomous. I've noticed that Oorun's autonomous interactions toward Yana are all very wholesome and gentlemanly, while Yana favors the goosing and squeezing

This thief NPC, named Emily Slew, has the best face tho. It's the 'Gerwazy' face by Nopke and I'm very happy my burglar spawned with it :3 I even made a lil ad poster for her enterprices

Everyone's traumatized. Rieban looks ready to do a war crime, I had no idea he loved those two saffron flowers over his parent's bed so much. Probably wouldn't even be the first time anyone's killed over saffron though

On a lucky day, Arvi could've foraged some mushrooms or something to contribute, but this time he only got a itchy rash

Baby Gáranas grows less babyish

The haircut he aged up into was a solid look on him and better than any of the other toddler hairs I tried on him, so. Also

And we close this segment on the adults doing Important Work while the children goof around outside doing nonsense like catching food and caring for the animals

By golly, I think it's well past time to go see about the Nubbes! Several of the family members' wardrobes get a bit of a downgrade, especially Imole's, but she doesn't look too devastated about it at least

Arvi and Bierdna head to the market for adventure, but as always, succeed mainly in people-watching and catching up with old friends.

Meanwhile Rieban takes a nap and recovers from plagueness

Imole gets a baby bump except no she doesn't because her toga doesn't have a preg morph :\

So she gets to have a pretty dress after all

Bierdna catches a fish as big as herself

which her dad cooks up for dinner

while she makes a fluffy friend.

There was a brief fire. Knowing the rain's already putting it out, Imole stays very calm even as all her guests and one of her kids run super close to the inferno to scream and flail for a bit

The little ones here are very cute.

The littlest guy, Stuorra, spends most of his time sleeping, but feckin toddlers can't go a minute without handling

Mr and Mrs Nubbe have a lovely apple tree which is fruiting this season. Here you see Im prepping some apple for baby food

yeah they look cute but they're a bloody handful really

then again, It's not easy being smol

Fortunately it's time to grow these smols

Rieban and Bierdna outgrew toddlerhood, flippin' finally

and Stuorra grows into it :/ at least there's only one of him

Gave them both long dreads, there aren't enough dreads in this hood at this point :) Aroha seemed a good candidate for this highly questionable basegame hula outfit, or so I thought at first... while Oraora goes for a slightly more down to earth look. I really like Aroha's side knots

I did end up picking a different outfit for her tho.

And Puawai aged up too!

I thinned out his hair a little, but otherwise just kept him in his adult stage look pretty much

teaching Pouri to walk is harder on his back all of a sudden, but hopefully the oldest girls will agree to help out with that now that they're old enough for that interaction to be enabled :P

I missed it but I think Nerea just punched her baby brother really hard. You're lucky we're not in the Victorian stage Nerea or you'd be sent away or something

Miretsi on the other hand plays really nice with her little sister Poza. One of them had a want for a swing around but I forget which one

My main objective with these is to just have the neighborhood kids meet each other for easier drama-weaving later tbh

Meanwhile I try to learn some sun&moon sets Entzu does some resource extraction labor in preparation for needing to know a trade by next challenge stage. I think he's grinding up some sulphur here?

short part 3 with the Ketas, featuring shenanigans. Yeah it looks weird because height disparity, but Imole just threw her entire self into Harikoa's arms... yeah they're both in open marriages but surely that's a little forward

Otia had puppies! They're very similar looking but Ocker's the one with the lighter grey snout

Harikoa agrees to take the puppies' grandma Mips off our hands, and even pays for the privilege

5 dogs is more than plenty for me. I'll probably get neighbors to take the puppies next round

Nifesi meets another uncle. She has a lot of them, even with 2 of them gone prematurely :P

Her parents, meanwhile, are... busy...

Also since last time, there's an addition to the family in the form of this very sweet but not all there pup called Otia.

There's 4 entire tiny dogs here now, two of whom apparently hate each other? This is a full on brawl between mother and son, Mips and Mucker respectively.

Waiata is into it, but the rest of us are a lil worried

The bad weather got the better of Didan and he didn't make it to the little boy's room in time :( sorry dude!

Obviously he needed a bath after that, and he broke the tub. Waiata, also wanting a bath, has the skills to fix it, if he'll ever stop crying for a second to move out the bloody way

The next morning we welcome EVEN MORE doggies! Yay! One of em really just hit the ground running there

Only now it occurs to me that I could've named Tips 'Tick' and it'd make these names more... symmetrical? i don't even know what i mean by that but

Nifesi's around, being a baby and not very much work at all. The difficulty spike between baby and toddler in the game is ridiculous I gotta say

As much as I love little doggies, I don't love having 6 at once... so the puppies were given new homes. Tipper went over to live with the Tuawhas, Tips with the Nubbes

Nifesi's been unreasonably chill so far, but the time soon comes to spike that difficulty

She's cute at least. Soon as you get that terrible suit off her :P

Suyana, while having a very romance sim vibe, is actually a popularity sim first, and would really like to have more best friends. Imole seems like a good candidate because they share the same favorite color.

Imole's dog Spot is also here.

While Yana is out making friends, at home the clock strikes birthday

Ewa resembles her big brother Aworan A LOT. Their personalities are very different though. He's a Leo, quite neat, VERY outgoing, somewhat serious and lazy and not as super-nice as Ewa. But like, I had to check :P

Here she's meeting her uncle Ife, barfing all over the man. Adorable.

Imole also meets the niece. But when her husband's around, all she wants to do is romantic gestures

Yana and Oorun are similar. I guess their conflict is over now then :/

Oorun is nearing old age and will grow elderlier next round, but he wants to take part in teaching Ewa her walking skills before crouching down like that becomes too painful.

Time now to start round 12 (whaaat) with this picture of itty bitty new kitty Wiola, looking spaced out.

Auntie Inti visits. She and Eallin have a secret cool guy handshake and everything.

Para is also visiting, helping out with little T'ika. No wonder how Eallin has been able to hang out all day at all her neighbor's houses since last round, there's no shortage of free babysitters around.

The neighbors' cooking has had a bit of an effect on Eallin's waistline though, not that it's noticeable at all with that baggy robe

When Eallin needs to tend the garden or slaughter poultry or sleep or something, T'ika's uncle Ife likes playing in her sandpile with her.

But whenever she has a free moment, she prioritizes teaching T'ika her toddler skills.

It takes time and patience, but as a knowledge sim, she knows the importance of having a solid foundation for learning, and giving T'ika that is worth every minute.

Here's another thing that's worth every minute: smoked poultry sausages. When those meat logs are good and dry, Eallin will tear up some jerky, and that extra protein should help little T'ika grow big and strong.

That night something bizarre happened. Imole Nubbe walked by and I had Eallin greet her, hoping to introduce T'ika to another one of her aunts. Instead Imole ran straight to the upper bedroom that's not in use right now

where it's all completely ablaze.

idk when this happened, or why? don't think there was anything in this room that could spontaneously combust and cause this

though apparently Tanna's firey ghost is around and actually shows herself to her sister. Could she have done this?

Sky the cat is just hanging out in the flames as well, why...

did Tanna just exorcise herself with the inferno? Her gravestone is still here but T'ika is feeling like the death just happened but it's days and days ago, i don't understand

Imole decides she's seen enough I guess

And the fire gradually dies down, leaving only the very flammable looking clothing hamper and manger unscathed. Also damn it Sky now your little feet will be all sooty.

Meanwhile T'ika was sleeping through the night in the open air, watched over by the diligent Wiola.

Who upon this day also grows a little less littler.

Sky survived the fire unharmed to get hugs from Eallin who also slept through the whole thing.

Rainy morning at the woods hut. Imole's eating for several, and Arvi chops a tree. Probably better to wait for dry weather but oh well

Arvi's niece Eallin drops by and is treated to a nice glass of milk from Arvi's sister's sheep that has only sat in his pockets for 4 days, don't worry about it.

Imole possibly makes things a little awkward talking about crime waves, but it's understandable as two of her brothers have been burgled as of relatively late

The subject soon changes to the weather, always a classic

Rain or shine, the garden must be attended to. Arvi gets to it as soon as he's finished his milk.

And so the days go by.

Tapu there only stayed to watch for a minute and disappeared when the actual baby appeared, what a weirdo

But yeah welcome Ulli!

The bloody newspaper delivery person just hung around for EVER, trying to get into every shot, succeeding here. You're not supposed to exist yet lady, I just needed the bloody paper to move bloody Arvi out

speaking of

Very not on theme taxi as well, I know. At least Arvi, Imole and Spot are out of here now, making this household somewhat more manageable.

Idja and Johka play nice together and are fairly self reliant, for toddlers at least

Their moms are very preoccupied with baby Ulli, but there's also just so much to in general, with the garden, the sheep and the dog

Momma Doaivu sometimes just stays in her sleeping clothes all day.

Their dog Kia makes an affectionate and responsible babysitter.

But you also gotta grow up fast in these bygone times

and Idja is no exception

Good thing too, because Sarta and Doaivu are going to need all the help that they can from capable hands now that the sheep are multiplying
