so. what villains are there in afits? i know literally nothing about them kskdjfkh so go wild on description (appearance, personality, motive, etc)

This is going to be a long post I hope you’re ready.

Antagonists

These two are teamed up together and I love their dynamic so much.

Pelageya Lenshka is seventeen years old, and was Saoirse’s first love. Kai Fen always thinks of her as “Saoirse’s ex-girlfriend”, even before Saoirse confirmed that. ANYWAY. She’s tall (5′10), has very light blonde hair, pale skin with yellow undertones, and light blue eyes. She has a strong nose and a cleft chin. She’s very theatrical and exaggerated with the way she moves and talks, and is very condescending.

She’s been manipulated by Rodosa Vilev, the woman in charge of training new responders, into believing that it’s the Echyet Vis’s fault that her father was killed. Because of this, Pelageya is determined to honour her father both by becoming a strong soldier, and by fighting against the cause he served for. She believes that they manipulated him, ironically, in much the same way Vilev has manipulated her.

This would all be fine and well if Saoirse would just stop getting in her way. Even if any romantic relationship between them would be toxic (and Pelageya borderline abusive), she still has a weakness for him.

Illarion Gabrikov hasn’t lived an easy life. He and his sister, Agnessa, were orphaned when he was six and she was four. When he was eight he got involved with gangs, and has been ever since. Recently, the gang he’s a part of allied themselves with something called the Isayun Vis. Illarion doesn’t know much about it other than the fact that wealth and riches might be in his reach if he can just climb the ranks.

So that’s what he’s doing. He’s doing it for himself, and for Agnessa, and fuck everyone else.

He’s got a lackadaisical personality, and an easy way of talking. He flirts with almost any girl, ever. He’s about 6′4, seventeen, and all he wants to do is go be lazy on some tropical island. It just sucks that he’s gotta work before he can get there.

Lesser Villains

Organizer Rodosa Vilev used to be Commander Rodosa Vilev, back before those filthy Echyet Vis stripped her of her hard earned rank and title. That isn’t her only issue with them, but it was pushed her into looking for some way to topple their regime. She found it in the form of the Isayun Vis, which she quickly allied herself with. She has used her position as a trainer for new responders to find new recruits for the Isayun Vis, including the very promising Pelageya Lenshka.

She’s a gross and slimey woman. She thinks that the Echyet Vis aim to make people lazy and compliant, and that Kolina is a habitual liar. She has a fiery ambition to get to the top. She also fancies herself a religious woman, and sees Isayu as the only true conduit of Vikwo. She has Vikwo’s blessing, and she believes that is him showing his fondness to her.

She recognized Kai Fen’s name when he registered himself under a… kind of horrible alias (He called himself Guo Kai Fen - he just took the second character of his uncle’s name to disguise his surname. He’s so bad with coming up with fake names) and got suspicions that his uncle, the brother of the Enyese Emperor, might be nearby. She orchestrated his abduction in hopes of winning favour from the Tsian, the leader of the Isayun Vis.

Jin Ya Ting is the blessed Emperor of Blinding Righteous Enyang, the conduit of Enshu’s will, and Kai Fen’s father… maybe. There’s some doubt surrounding that. When Kai Fen failed to receive a blessing by the time he was eleven, Ya Ting accused his wife, Empress Lei Min, of having an affair, and declared Kai Fen illegitimate, and sentenced both of them to execution.

Dong Guo managed to convince Ya Ting to spare Kai Fen on the condition that he be declared dead to the public (which Ya Ting rationalizes as not being a lie because legally, Kai Fen is dead, and he’s the Emperor, and he creates law), but Lei Min still met her fate. Kai Fen has grown increasingly angry towards him and resents him for forcing him to live his life in a lie.

Still, he needs his help in finding his uncle, and he needs to confront him. He needs to know if his mother, cornered and afraid, would lie about not having an affair despite knowing she’d be found out anyway, or if his father, the conduit of truth, lied twice.

Major Villain

Imperaness Isayu Hasavonya is Vikwo’s daughter. She is the first and only of her kind, born of lightning and stone. She was brilliant, and pushed Vwos into a new technological age. She married into the royal family by way of deceit and trickery, but very much in Vikwo’s good graces. Despite her brilliance, she was vain and pampered and had ridiculously high standards for the people under her. She required utmost devotion, or else.

It’s said that she lost her life the same day that her husband Imperator Fuzuli Hasavonya did, but no one ever saw the body, and there are rumours….

And just who is this Tsian that’s in charge of the Isayun Vis?
