so... I'm making an Amazing Digital Circus AU called Dark Digital Circus. it's pretty much what if three TADC characters swapped with the main characters from Dark Wood Circus: The Deformed Diva, the Two-headed Freak, and the Blue Beast.

I've always thought that, even though it's super colorful and bubbly, the amazing digital circus was like Dark Wood Circus, a dark, sinister place where it's deal or no deal: you either assimilate into your new cartoon self and fit a strict archetype to make the thing amusing or die by being yourself. I've always thought of Caine as someone like the Ringmaster from Dark Wood Circus: cruel, heartless, and a fuckin' monster who doesn't care if his 'superstars', die (even though Caine is an AI who is supposed to make the show nice and i don't know if his programmer would have said "hmm, yes, make the AI heartless and ab/s/ve (u,i), let's defeat the entire point of the show by making it sinister")

so, basically:

-now, Pomni is the distorted diva, while still retaining her clumsy and scaredy attitude

-now Gangle is the Two-headed freak, while still retaining their base body: two theatre masks with red ribbons, one sad and the other extremely happy

-and lastly, Kinger is Pochi/the blue beast, but now he's lost his shit and the only things that resembles the original kinger are his purple clothing and being a white king chess piece

I'll upload the other two designs soon, hope it goes well (no motivation for image id tho, help would be appreciated + what matters most is the long wall of text)
