trying to find the situation for it would be difficult but i'd really love to write ran getting comforted... like for a genuinely terrible situation bc he likes to pretend he's upset over the littlest things so rindou can get him more sweets 🩷 but in a situation where he has no choice but to be vulnerable.... oughhh loser guy who thinks he's above everyone else gets unpleasantly reminded he's, in fact, a Human Being with emotions

#sry for all the ooc im slowly getting my Writing Groove™ back #i think a lot about how he must've felt when (or if) he found out kakucho died for real this time LOL #in my heart of hearts i believe that in that timeline ran kept both kakucho and izana's earrings 😔#like he could accept it the first time bc they both 'died' together and there's comfort in that #but this time? kakucho was his responsibility... ran made it a point to look after him...#so in a way it's like he failed izana now too 😔😔#not to mention independently of izana ran just really likes kakucho so it hits hard regardless #but he has rindou with him so the only thing to do is move on and honor their memories #SIGHS...#* ›› / * ooc.
