yes! everyone's pretty aware of it. kate is constantly covering her eyes and squinting and cussing at people for suddenly turning on the lights around her with no warning. she's grateful the forest is so dense and blocks out so much sun. eventually toby gets her a hat... he tried sunglasses but she said they look stupid. eventually, her eyes get less sensitive as slendy has less of a chokehold on her, but theyre still sentitive.

as for nina, she's generally pretty careful about it. gets a privacy screen so she can scroll on her phone with kate besides her, but her screen appears dark/black for kate. her apartment is littered with dim lamps, fairylights, and candles, rather than the big lights. she prefers evenings/night life anyway, so if she wants to take kate somewhere, she picks places that are 24/7 or open late. she has had to frantically apologize for accidentally taking pictures with flash, though

re-reading the manga, i always had this feeling that itachi never wanted to stay alive. maybe im the only one.. 🤨

He really had no will to live once he massacred his clan. I doubt he had any desire to live before that as well. In Sasuke's flashbacks he looks completely lost and helpless and reacts positively only to Sasuke being around. Once he killed his clan, and just in case, there was no Sasuke, he would have killed himself too. But the travesty of all of this is that he forcefully prolonged his life so he could die in Sasuke's presence.

He was never raised to be a normal kid. He was both a tool and a sacrifice, used as just that by his clan and the village both. He never had much of a choice in how he turned out because of being brought up in a strict household with equally strict clan vs village ideals.

So, when he left the village and throughout his life afterwards, owing to his guilt, he lived like a tool that could be useful to Sasuke eventually. Sasuke would be the hero of the village, Sasuke would be strong enough to protect himself from the likes of Danzo and 'Madara'.

So, yeah. He didn't want to live at all and he'd be at peace in death, despite our desire to watch him live longer.

the way yjh follows every command, and kdj's unbashed surprise at how obedient he is. man lost everything, following the one man who just drops in and somehow he knows all of that despair that cannot even be measured.

kdj just appears and he immediately derails everything. then yjh finds a reason to keep on going, his salvation, even when he was in absolute despair. like... what?

of course kdj would be the one. only he would know that pain. the way 1863rd yjh immediately slumps when he gets a bread crumb of acknowledgment and understanding. validation.

what would kdj do if he stayed in that world line? how would he treat yjh?

it seems, even at the end of it all, he wants to be understood so he won't be so lonely.
