it's day three of anne's eunuch book making me absolutely feral 🥺
#i can't stop wondering about if people had reacted better to the castrati smut#what kind of action we might have gotten in the VC books#because she wrote this before TVL#and you can see her laying the groundwork for concepts that would later be used in the VC#but the public absolutely could not handle the contents of this book and it kills me#it's such an incredible exploration of what it means to exist in a body that transcends sex and gender#and what intimacy is like for them#and idk idk just crying in the club over much more anne could have explored in the VC#had only publishers and the public in the 80s accepted her more graphic works 🥺#anyways if you need me i'll be thinking about armand and daniel#in relation to tonio's experience with the cardinal#and tonio absolutely losing his mind over experiencing a man's body#and thinking about if armand lost his over touching up daniel in the same way
