fuck it I'm reblogging everything about the referendum here bc I barely do shit on my main blog and I'm Upset
#for context for any perplexed non-australians -#the country voted for an indigenous voice to parliament today that would enshrine an aboriginal and torres strait islander advisory body#in the constitution. there's been shithead misinformation campaigns about it for months. referendums so rarely go through#this one wasn't even close. no states had a yes result (only the ACT which is a territory and so doesn't count)#fucking embarrassing.
