it's genuinely so wild enjoying these films and then seeing people completely misunderstand them and claim sny.ders glorifying facism and made the heroes racist. he is a very unsubtle director, he will hammer you in the face with the themes of his work, there's no attempt to make the motherworld appear as anything other than what it is. and yet... id say the only way this franchise could be less subtle would be if he looked directly into the camera but. uh. he actually already does that.
