#colored#sketchlog#2022#original#original character#Thiên An#i never remember if i use their full names on the tags sdjhdslbjsd oh well not like. a lot of people can type it anyway#in the past 1-2 years i haven't used overlay layers much bc the colors i use have been very deliberate#most of the time it's a good thing but while doing this doodle (which did use overlay layers) i was thinking it's like. part of how i kinda#overplan things? like these days even line doodles take ages bc i give them unique outfits and accessories. with research and all#and i've been thinking about it a lot it's like. sometimes i think this perfectionist extra nature is keeping me from actually making art#but at the same time i feel like i shouldn't scold myself for it. feels like i'm being influenced by sns pace in that manner#it's hard to find an inbetween when i'm so used to leaning to the extreme of self deprecation#i'm glad this doodle turned out well even though i tried my best to not put Too Much effort into it. executed the vision pretty well#head empty these days otherwise lol i shouldn't force myself but still feel kinda bad for not making art all august#i've just been playing trails in the sky#i've been distancing myself from sns more and more but i do miss being in an art space... but i'm not gonna find it on twitter#bách
