I have two different target users (cyclist & bike shop). Synbike's website and software are designed for different target users to use. The problems that Synbike solve are also different depending on which kind of user you are. So it could be hard to explain all the things in a short video.
I also don't want to make the video like a tutorial teaching you how to use the software. It may be a good way to show all the cool features I made, but that will be kind of boring.
So I decided to only focus on two things in the video.
Firstly, telling the problem. I chose to use a very simple situation: one that is googling "how to register a bike?" and gets scared by the amount of research and reading he/she needs to do. Then decides to procrastinate and say, "I will do it tomorrow".
Second, explain Synbike's concept. It starts with pointing out how Synbike helps cyclists solve the registration problem. And then brings out the question: who is gonna register my bike? So we jump to the software interface and say, "your bike shop will do it for you!".
So I don't need to do like, hey, I got a design project, and I have a website and software, check it out.
