On 13th May 1961, in Glossop Maternity Unit at the Royal Infirmary on the Newport Road, Cardiff, ten minutes past ten on a Saturday morning, I was born. It’s been an eventful sixty years since and I’ve travelled and lived in many places in many countries, though I still visit and work in my hometown often and honour my Welsh and Romany heritages, even living here in the Queen of Cities, heart of the Orient.
