i FINALLY got the 16.5 gallon cycling for the shrimps .. ive had this tank sitting for a little over a year now so its good to get all the water loaded up and the filter and bubbler running on it
#shrimp postin#the lighting is so blue in this pic but its only half this blue in the real#the water is just cycling for right now (im going to have to let it cycle for atleast 4 months)#but im thinking what im going to do with this tank if i put my shrimp in it#instead of the other 20gal rectangular one ive also been saving#is ive gotta fuck with the filter and cordon it off underneath some eggcrate light diffuser and foam or something#because if i put them in this tank with how strong this filter is proving to be they'll just die instantly because theyre so fucking small#i might just not use mechanical filtration altogether and just go with walstad filtration#thats my dream with these guys honestly is find a brackish couple of plants i can do walstad with. thats so ideal.#because almost any filter either bothers these guys too much or kills them. even bubble stones bother them if theyre too high#but whats most important now is to season the water and get it cycling
