Is your business affected by Section 321 De Minimis Value Entry?
In case you are not fully aware, on March 10, 2016 - Section on 321 of the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act was implemented by the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This provision enabled the release of shipments valued at $800 or less under the same processes and with the same restrictions as the old De Minimis shipments of $200 or less. Sounds simple - just raise the threshold for shipments that are eligible for Sec(on 321 claim processing to expedite the clearance process.
