Myoring Treatment, my experience so far.
Hi, just wanna share some info about my experience using myoring (intrastromal lens) to stop kc degeneration. I did CXL twice in my left eye, but KC was still progressing and become severe (I couldn't drive at night nor reading) so I went to Doc Alberti in Milan ( I am italian) who suggested myoring treatment. Yesterday I did the op on day surgery, minor pain but today I regained a lot of vision and although I am pretty satisfied of the result just as it is, it will also improve over the next year! Scope of treatment: Both Lasik and ReLEx SMILE procedures are safe and effective in treating various eyesight conditions. The efficacy of ReLEx SMILE is limited to the correction of myopia and myopic astigmatism. Its efficacy in other conditions is under trial. Lasik surgery may not be an option for people with a thin cornea, while ReLEx SMILE is effective in such cases.
The cost involved: There is a cost difference between the two procedures. ReLEx SMILE is costlier as compared to the Lasik surgery.
