Your go-to accessorize when you wear any outfit. You have hundreds of bracelets you have charm, Crystal, Evil eye, Seed beads, Clay beads, Rubber bands The list goes on name a bracelet you most likely have it. But recently the bracelets you where the most have been going missing.

"Riri have you seen my white crystal bracelet," You ask her hoping she will say yes. Riri begins to become nervous "Nope haven't seen it," she says awkwardly. The funny thing is riri in fact had seen your white crystal bracelet because she wore it today with her outfit. "Weird all of my bracelets have been going missing, " you say as you look around your bedroom for your bracelet. "Real weird maybe we got a jewelry bandit" riri chuckles."I guess ill just wear my clear one," you say as you get your clear bracelet from your bracelet holder. You spray your perfume and you put on your shoes and coat. "Where are you going," riri asks you confused because you didn't make plans. "I'm going to the bracelet store to buy replacements, Wanna come" You offer riri an invitation. "Uhh Sure " riri rushes, puts on her uggs, and gets her jacket .

As you get to the car riri begins to feel guilty about taking your bracelet knowing you were going to spend money to buy a replacement of something that was never lost. Riri stops you before you get to open your car door . "I took your bracelets because they smell like you and when I'm not with you and I start to miss you I smell them" riri says speak fast but you understood her clearly .You smirk . "riri I know you took them where still going to the store because I'll let you have those " you say causing riri to smile. "I love you " riri says "I love you Ms.Jewlrey Bandit"

You end up buying a lot of duplicates of bracelets due to riri taking a lot you told riri she should just keep all the bracelets she took so that yall could be twining

"Can we get matching bracelets it's ok if you think it's you know corny " riri asks you . "Yes riri of course we can get official matching bracelets " you smile at her. "Also can you help me create a bracelet collection," riri asks you hoping that you will agree? "Yes I will help you it's not that hard "

For the next couple of hours you and riri online shop for a couple of bracelets and or bracelets for RiRi's new collection. You enjoyed spending time with her and explaining some deep meanings behind your bracelets which she enjoyed because it was you talking.

At the end of the day, you and your little jewelry bandit had gotten new jewelry while bonding two things you didn't know would connect so well

YOU and riri were “close friends” but you didn’t see her in a “Best friend way” You saw her like a lover, your other half. You always gave slight hints about how you felt about riri but she just saw it as a best friend type deal. Kids from school would even tell riri that it wasn’t “Best Friend Like” and that you were obviously in love. Yet riri would explain to them “Me and Y/n have a different type of friendship not like yours “. When she would tell you about what your classmates would say you would just nod knowing that you obviously love her. 

You guys were watching a madea movie to be exact ‘A Madeas Family Reunion’. You and riri would talk to each other during the film about how you felt about the people their actions and what yall would do. You guys really hated the mom because she was clearly a bitch. You hated Carlos because he was an abuser. But overall you and riri both decided that they all need to go to therapy. 

You guys were watching the part in the movie when Lisa, Vanessa, and victoria were talking to the aunts. Aunt myrtle began to talk about memories with her husband. Riri would lay her head on your chest. Oh, how you loved when she would that. Riri held your hand close to her heart. 

“We had a love so strong it felt like we were one…that it just seemed like we were one.I would get ready to tell him something and he would open his mouth and say the very thing that I was fixing to tell him” 

You began to listen to the words of  Aunt Myrtle, You thought about times if you ever had that moment when you would finish someone's sentence or if they ever finished your sentences. 

Flashback: Helping Riri WIth IronHeart Suit

Riri had invited you to the garage because she needed some help with her iron heart suit. You had door dashed some McDonalds to the garage because you started to get hungry, You open the bag of food and you grab your burger and your french fries. You open the burger and begin to take a bite. Riri hears the wrapper of your burger and looks at you. You stop chewing. “I know you didn't get a burger and didn’t . You swallow your burger and take out riris burger and fries. “I got your big mac and fries you can get your soda and apple pie when your done” She begins to smile at you and gives you a hug. “Thanks, Y/n you know i don't play about the food I was gonna steal your burger,” She says ending with a chuckle. 

After you guys finish your meal you guys go back to suit. You put on your playlist and begin to relax to the vibe. Sza - I hate u plays and you vibe to the song while mouthing the lyrics “Y/n can you hand me- “ you get the wrench from her toolbox and pass it to her. “Thanks y/n,” she says with a smile. 

Flash Back Ends

You begin to open your eyes from ending the flashback and let out a slight sigh. “You good “ you hear riri ask you. “Yeah. Im good” You say softly Riri begins to massage your hand She would do this if you ever felt stressed or if you ever where quite in a social place. 

“And Then, There were those memories when I would lay my head on his chest just to listen to his heartbeat. And then one night I realized that his heartbeat matched mine”

You begin to muffle the movie out of your focus and you start to listen to riris heartbeat in yours that's when your and riris heartbeats matched each other. “Aww “ riri says when she listens to aunt myrtle finish her speech. 

If only riri really Listened To Her Words she would see that You and Her Were… ONE

YOU were at your parents house.You lived there because You were making minimum wage at your job.You where trying to get known and help basketball players if they ever had a Injury.People doubted You thinking you will never get known.So far they where right most people didn’t know your first name . Maris's outfit YOU and you friend Maris who was basically like your sister decided to go out to a basketball game . She made it seen like a big thing to your parents .She was trying to get on of the basketball players numbers so they could date . She was trying to be a basketball wife. She insisted that you should dress like one to but you decided to keep it casual. It’s a basketball game. “Girl you acting like we going to the club or sum shit come on” you say as you do try moving her to the door . “Wait I got to make sure my makeup is good “ she says as she goes back to the bathroom. “We gone be late waiting for you and this make up” you say annoyed. “Well you’re going to understand this hard work when I get my wife” she says as she rolls her eyes. “Girls come here” your mom yells from her bedroom. Maris drops her makeup brush and heads out the bathroom. “You finished your makeup right “ you whispered to her. “Yeah I’m done now” . You guys walk into the room and stand Infront of your moms bed. “This necklace holds history , family history” she says she takes the family necklace out. the necklace was your great great grandmothers she wore it the night she met your great grandpa and said it gave miracles and love to whoever wore it . you mother begin to stand up and un-clip the necklace. She stands Infront of the two of you . She begins to walk towards maris and place the necklace on her . You look at her as she places it in disbelief. You felt your heart shatter and break into to tiny pieces. You walk out the bedroom and head to the car .”Wait y/n” you hear your mom says. You make your way outside and you unlock your car. You try hard and hard to open the door. “Great know out of all time it doesn’t wanna fucking open” you say as tears run down your face . your car was your great grandfathers old car . It was a classic and you wanted to keep it in the family. But so far you might have to give up the car. The door is hard to open or it’s easy, it’s hard to close most of the time. The car runs out of gas easily but you were determined to keep the car. you open the door and sit in the car. You start to close the door and it gets stuck midway.”why just why” you say as you close it hard. You begin to cry before you got a knock on the window. The person opens the door and you begin to see who it was . It was your dad. “Can I come talk with my daughter” he says as slight opens the door . “Yeah you can come in “ you say as you wipe your tears off your face. “What’s wrong” your dad asks you. “Mom” you say. you felt heartbroken and betrayed . You were Betrayed by your mom by maris . Did your mom not believe in you falling in love. She knew that maris was going to get a man but she always made it how she was going to get a basketball wife. She only did it for the money.Maris had a plan for it, Be hard to get, fall in love , get married , take the money and dip.You always told her that she she should have real love, but she never listened the only thing she listens to is money talk. “What did she do this time” you dad says as he chuckles and rolls his eyes. “The necklace she gave it Maris , I know I should be happy for her and all but I feel heartbroken” . You say your dad starts to give you a hug.”it’s ok y/n your mom still loves you no matter what” he says as finished hugging you .”you need a shirt on top of that” your dad says as he leaves the car to do something. You look down trying to remember what you were wearing. You wore a black bikini top with some Chicago basket ball shorts And a hat.

The outfit

YOU turned on some music wating for your dad to come back . You put on some old school . 'Love Like like this before by faith evans " begins to play. You begin to chill and slowly dance to the song.

Your dad opens the car door and sits on the passenger side . "I want you to take this" he says as he gives you a ring. It was a gold ring . He always said you would get it when you where old enough , you were now finally old enough to have it.

"Thanks dad" you say putting the ring on your finger."No problem and remember stay calm" He says as he opens the car door to get out . "thanks dad I'll remember, and tell maris to come out she taking to long" you say your dad closes the door and walks back in the house "Will do " he yells.

Maris comes in the car and sits on the passenger side.Then she closes the door."You good " she asks you. "I'm good" you responded to her. "Also after the game I'm going to hang out with the basketball wives so we can get an invite to RiRi's party tomorrow". You nod to her in response and you drive off.

Riri's Pov

IT was the 30 seconds of the game. I begin to feel overwhelmed. They pass the ball to me and now I'm starting to go to half-court. it's now 15 seconds on the clock. I begin to dribble feeling the ball bounce back to my fingertips. I shoot the ball now only having 5 seconds on the clock. I watch the ball like a hawk. The ball goes through the hoop as the game ends. Fans begin to cheer and I become happy. I begin to look in the stands at the fans but my eyes quickly make eyes with her. She was in a black dress next to someone. I begin to look at her friend. I thought old girl in the black dress was fine but looking at the girl with the Chicago shorts is overall heaven. I begin to see her get up so I rush to the locker room hoping I can see her.

I rush to the locker room and try to put on my clothes. "Hey ri nice shot on the game". I hear my friend mi says. "Thanks, thanks" I respond taking off my jersey. "where are you going in a rush," she asks. "I saw this girl in the stands and her and her friend were just fine I think she leaving so ima see if I can find her" I respond as I put on my top and jacket. "Just find her insta" she says trying to be smart."Oh I definitely know her insta" I saw being sarcastic as I move quocl taking off my shorts." Whatever but since you said her friend is fine how about you put me on," she says. I put my pants on and put on a bandana and I head out of the locker room after I spray some cologne. "I'll see what I can do" I respond with a yell leaving the locker room.

Riri's Outfit. I drove to the gas station realizing I had a 3rd of a tank. I park my car and then I got a call from my party director. "Oh what now, " I say I answer the call annoyed. All week I have been getting problem after problem with the party. "The ice sculpture isn't going to be done in time and the only substitute we can do is a chocolate one," My director says. I look out my window to see the girl from the stands buying gas. "yeah yeah just do the chocolate".

I get out of my car and make my way to the girl." hey Ms. Chicago" I say chuckling I named her after her shorts. " Hello, Ms half court" they respond to me with a little laugh. "Well I wanted to say your outfit is fire, " I say breaking the ice. "Thanks, I like your outfit also" she responds."Originally my friend wanted me to me wear a dress, but I don't think she understands it's a basketball game," she says with a laugh."You would probably look good in one" I respond being flirty."All though I look like a stud I can fit every style" she says striking a pose."I can see that" I respond. "So how long have you been a fan " I ask her just wondering. "Im not weird I promise but I have been a fan sense you been on the Las An sparks"She says I begin to get surprised . "damn you a og huh " I ask her . "You could say that. She says with a laugh . For the next 30 minutes I was talking to Ms.Chicago . She was just like me . "I gotta get going but I was wondering if you would wanna come to my party tomorrow" I ask her hoping she would say yes. "Yeah I'm down to have a little fun for a party" she says I begin to feel excited "Yes" I whisper to my self hoping she didn't hear. "I mean uh cool that's cool" I say going back to my calm cool and collected attitude . "Is Ms.Half Court In love " She asks being cocky . "Maybe maybe not " I begin to look at her and she does a slight lip bite ."Ms.Chicago whats your insta" I ask her I take out my phone and open insta. "Lemme see" she gets holds her hand out I begin to look at her hands as her rings. She types it her insta in and gives my phone back . "Is that all you need " she says looking at me in a flirtatious tone . "Yeah I guess so " ."See you Ms.Half Court~" she says in a seductive tone doing a simple but seductive wave . "See ya ma" We go are separate ways and I get in my car.

WHEN Y/n got back into her car she became excited never did she think she would meet her favorite basketball player and get invited to her party.

With riri she was trying to deny the fact that she was in love with a fan or in love who she calls Ms.Chicago. Riri could try to convince herself that she wasn't in love Ms.Chicgo but she knew .

Y/n's POV

You had been new to campus, which made you "popular". A lot of people started to tell you not to go to a girl named riri. The reason on why was stupid "don't go to her because she can be very mean" . It sounded like a 5 year old giving reason to not like someone.

You where walking around to find your class . Even though you were “popular” nobody helped you,Not even once. “So where tf am I know” you say as you look up from the map. You walk over to a table where a girl and some books .”not to inarupt you but can you give me a tour” You ask the girl as she looks up from her phone.”umm not- Actually yeah why not I have nothing else to do “ at first the girl was about to decline your offer but she said yes.

As you and riri began to start the tour the school people begin to give you guys looks. “Why are those people giving looks” you ask her confused. “Most people don’t fuck with me because I messed up a popular guys grade and they think I’m mean” she exclaims she seemed unfazed about people not liking her and you liked that about her.

“Well you know this but this the cafeteria”She says with a nod and you guys began to walk to the next area. Riri points at a door “this Mr.Hogs Arts History class “ you begin to hum as a response. On the other side we Ms.Marello With History. Riri starts to walk and you follow.

For the next couple of classes you and riri missed you guys where enjoy the time together. You guys made jokes and you learnt about Some teachers. You knew missing classes on the first day was a bad impression but you happened to let the headmaster know . You said you and a student would miss class. You just never told her which student it would be.

“Thx for the tour riri it was nice to do it with you I’ll see you later right “ you ask confused on what she might say .”yeah I’ll see you” Riri responds and she begins to walk off and than a stop. “Wait what’s you name “ she asks without looking back. “Y/n” I respond happy . “See you around y/n”

Riri’s Pov

As I leave her I thought she was a pretty cool person.She was a one of kinda girl. I haven't meet someone like her. I mean it's not like I really talk to people other than mj my mom and shuri but still.

“Mj I'm telling you she's my match she's the girl I want to sing sure thing to “ I tell her she rolls her eyes. “Your a fucking simp you just met the girl “ mj says. Although she was right in many ways I didn't know what I want and that's her. “Mj she’s different I know it “ I exclaim. Y/n and riri did see each other after the first meeting but they never talked . They would exchange friendly gestures and words by never had a full conversation. This caused riri to get a little suspicious on where y/n stands. Riri began to get defensive over y/n and caused threats to people who would say something rude . She also pushed people away so there relationship would get stronger.

Mj saw this as the first stage of Riri becoming crazy . “This is no way to have her talk to you more “. At the beginning riri was in denial and didn’t listen to mj .

Y/n’s Pov

You where at lunch with you friend Sam.You had a couple more classes for the day . But you needed a answer to a question that’s been wondering in your mind recently. Right know you had the right person with you to ask the question. “Girl these people are dropping me like flies” you say confused. “Girl that’s because of that riri girl” she says with attitude. “Fuck you mean” you ask her still confused knowing little to know knowledge on what she is talking about. “You didn’t know “ she asks obviously knowing the answer. “If I knew why would I be so confused and concerned “ you say getting annoyed with her . “Well riri has been threatening people with bad grades to stop talking to you “ the friend says . You knew she was being messy but at least you know why people stopped.”I’ll see you later I got class” you say as a particularly excuse.You leave the lunch table and begin to head to your class about 20 minutes earlier. You did it so you could possibly avoid people .

You walk in the classroom expecting nobody to be their. Yet you see the back of riri you begin to turn hoping she didn’t hear you come in . “Hello y/n” she says as she turns to face you . You roll your eyes as you turn around.

But to you, she was your ex-fiance riri. Well if you said how you felt about riri you would go on and on about her for hours. But to simplify your description of how you felt about riri, she was your first ex. 

Most people find it crazy how riri is your first-ever ex but you had a good reason why. Your parents were strict and wanted you to focus on your grades. So until you left your parent's house you never had your first love, First Date, or First Argument. But when you say first love you mean your first REAL love. You had those little secret relationships when you were in middle school but you never thought of that as real love. 

Due to riri being your first ever real experience of love you basically let any and everything slide. You let it slide due to you being blindly in love with riri. So blind you let her have an affair in YOUR apartment. When that happened people told you that you should leave her . You told people that it was ok and you tried giving her yet another chance to prove people wrong. That chance you gave riri ended up making you look like a fool. Why? Because riri cheated on you once again. 

That relationship sparked trust issues and insecurity with your body. It made you feel like the only reason why riri was cheating was because of your body. You thought if I change my body maybe just maybe riri will love me how she loved me once before. This caused harm to your health. You thought people wouldn’t notice you slowly starting to stop eating but they realized and caught on quickly. You told them that it was no big deal why you were doing it. Until you slowly stop eating for one person, That one person leads you to the hospital . When you were in the hospital the person that you even did this for didn’t even come to see if you were okay. For the rest of the time you spent in the hospital thinking and hoping that the one person you wanted to see would ever come, She never did. 

You got out of the hospital after a week and on that day you decided to go grocery shopping and then go to the store. But you realized you forgot the main thing you needed to shop. A wallet. You went to your apartment to get your wallet and go . When you went to your apartment you caught riri getting a lap dance from her boss. On that day, June 23rd, you ended your relationship with riri for good. She told you “Oh I'm gonna change” but you weren’t blindly in love anymore. Enough was enough you weren’t going to look like a fool anymore.

Riri ended up finally moving out and leaving your life FOR GOOD around a week later. Or so you thought.

Present Time

You were out in Chicago. You happened to be in town for a work meeting and family. Due to you being in your hometown for a little bit, you decided to catch up with old friends from high school. Today you and your old friend Mira decided to go out shopping and have a girl’s day. 

Right now you guys were at Vivienne Westwood. You guys were looking at jewelry and purses. “Girl these earrings and rings are just chef kisses” You point at the glass so she can look at which ones you pointed at. “Ok them fire, “ she says as she looks at the rings you pointed to. “I think I’m going to get them but I don’t know should I-” You ask her before you got cut off by a familiar voice. “I’ll buy the jewelry put it on my tab” the lady yells to the worker. You look up confused about who would make the purchase. You look at first happy but annoyed once you see who it is. “No ma, am it's ok I'm just going to pay for it” You speak to the worker as you get your wallet out to purchase the jewelry.  “You give the lady cash and she gets the jewelry you wanted and put it in a bag . “I’ll be in the car Mira,” You say Mira continues to shop and look around the store. 

You begin to leave the store with the new jewelry you had purchased. “Hey y/n can we talk “ You hear a voice ask you. You ignore the voice and keep walking to the car “Look I know you hear me and are trying to ignore me” She says you roll your eyes knowing she wouldn’t see that. “So why do you keep on talking to me, “ you ask her stopping in the parking lot. “Because I want to talk to you, I want to talk to you about you know us” You give her a side-eye. “Us there's no more us go to the side hoe you was messing with when I was in the hospital,” I say give her a up down look. “Look i know what I did in the past was wrong but give me a chance “ you can tell riri meant it but you're not trying to go through that toxicity again. You give riri a blank stare “ Did you not understand the last sentence? Why are you looking for me when you can be with that hoe who gave you a lapdance? '' You say, reminding her once again of her old ways. That's the thing, we where just friends with benefits, “ she says . “Ok go friends with benefits yo ass out my face “ you say trying not to be laugh. “Look y/n what can i do to you know regain your trust or become friends “ she asks you . “Just you can’t regain my trust and I don't want to experience that path in my life again, “ you say . “How about we go to therapy together and get everything off of our chest , Deal ? '' she asks me . I start to think maybe we can patch this relationship . “Sure text me the details on insta “ i exclaim. “No number ?” riri asks . “We're not at that level yet “ you say as you walk off to your car . 

Hours Later 

You went out on a date with yourself. People believe that you doing it is crazy but it's not . It’s self-love. You would often enjoy these dates because you got time to yourself to just relax . You also liked it because you would often make new friends . This night was different you relaxed and watched the sunset as you took a break from your book. You took a sip from your champagne and sighed. 

“Excuse me ma'am your guest is here “ you look up at the waitress confused on what she's talking about . “Ma,am I don’t know what you're talking about there shouldn’t be anyone else coming? '' you responded to the waitress . “Oh i’m sorry they told they where here for you , My apologies i will give her another table “ the waitress says as she turns to leave your table .”thank you ma'am” you say with a smile . You go back to reading your book as you try to forget that awkward situation you just went through. You try and try to read in your book in your mind yet every time you do you go back to the situation.

Why did they come see you? 

Knowing that someone knew where you were when you told nobody became unsettling on the stomach. You were ready to get up and leave when you haven't even had your food yet. You get up from your table and you head to your waiter . “Excuse me can i get my bill “ you ask trying to keep your calm. “ Ma,am you haven’t got your food yet? '' she says, wondering if she has done anything wrong. “I know but ever since you told me about my guest it had been unsettling on my stomach “ you say. “Ma,am the person is over there “ the waitress says as she points to a table. You look over to see riri wave at you with a smile. “Actually i’ll be staying , just put it on her tab” . 

You walk over to the riris table pissed off. “Why are you here?” you ask her in an angry tone. Riri drank her champagne  and stared at you . The thing with riri is whenever you would get mad at her she liked it she liked the way anger looked on you . She liked it so much that while you guys were together she would do small things that she knew made you made mad , she did it so you could yell at her . “ Here to see you of course i couldn’t let you look like a goddess and I not talk to you” she says with a smile. “ So what i'm here if you wanted to go out on a date” you ask riri with a smile.”Yeah basically “ riri responds as she stares as while taking a sip of Chamgane ”. 

“Well sense you want it to be a “date” let's enjoy this “date” You say as move your seat more close to the table. You get the bottle of chamagne riri already ordered and you begin to pour yourself some in a glass. You place the champagne bottle on the spot it was previously at. You take a sip from your glass and place your glass on the table when you finished. You look up at sky and show a light smile. “Dosen’t the sky look breath taking” you ask rir as you set your eye from the sky to her. “Its breathtaking like you “ riri flirts. “Oh thank you “ you say being pleasant. 

For the next couple hours you and riri talked about everything. Your relationship , Work, Friends, Everything to catch eachother up on. You put in your half for the bill and sighed . “I wasn’t expecting my self love date to turn out like this , but i enjoyed this more than i thought i would “ You said as you got up to put your coat on. “I’m glad you enjoyed this “ she says as she puts on her coat. The two of you walk out of the restaurant talking about some funny experiences when you guys where still together. You guys laugh and laugh until you guys stopped at your car. “I hope we can do this again sometime “ riri says as she opens the car door for you . “Yeah maybe we can do this again”  you say as you look at riri with a smile. She closes the car door and you look at her until she walked away. 

“I think im in love “ you yell knowing well your car wasn’t sound proof. You couldn’t be in love right shes your ex . She put you through hell and you don’t want to go through that again . It like riri knew what to do and what to say to get you back. “ No i can’t be in love , i have moved on and im probably just a little tipsy” you say trying to put your feelings aside . “ Theres no way I’m in love this quick you know “ you say keep trying to put your feelings aside knowing well you couldn’t put true love aside. You drive out the parking lot and head home . 

At Home

You where now settled into your home after the date with riri. You were still torn thinking about if you where still in love with riri. You couldn’t believe it . Why ? Because while riri was out of your life you where “healing and moving on” . Or so you thought . You went to your bedroom and digged up a box. The box had the only good memories of you and riri’s relationship . Unlike other people who burned , selled or even threw away all memories you kept them knowing before what ever happened that the 2 of you did have good times and it wasn’t always bad. You open the box and take out the pictures and look threw them. You saw pictures of you and riri at a  fair , carnival, party,farm etc you smiled and chuckled at some pictures. When you looked at the pictures long enough you had flashbacks . 

Fair Flash Back Starts

“Hey excuse me ma,am can you take this picture of me and my girlfriend “ you ask a lady ready to hand her the camera. “Sure why not “ you guys kiss and hold up the teddy bear that yall named “ Mr. Honey” . “what a lovely couple yall are i hope you guys like the picture “ the lady says as he hands you the camera back . “thank you have a nice day” you say smiling . “babe we should go on that “ She says she points at the sky master . “Im not going on that all that food i just ate, Im not throwing up tonight “ you say as you laugh. You guys walk around the fair until you to go on the swing ride. “Looks like im going to have Mr.honey in my lap “ you say with a laugh. “Mr.Honey is lowkey lucky” riri says as she laughs. 

Fair Flash Back Ends 

You open your eyes and go back to present time . You place the pictues back in the box and you place it under you bed. You go to your full body mirror and you began to look at yourself and think. 

Is the love worth my going through that pain again ? 

You turn off your bedroom lights and lay back in your bed. You let the question wander around in your head until you stopped, You layed your head on your pillow and went to sleep for the night. 

Was the love for riri that important that you would go through that pain again?
