Just had another shitass do that thing where they only sort of read one line of my bio and tried to use it to invalidate my argument.
(further rant in tags)
#context: an AITA post where someone was kinda vague about writing 'graphic horror'#I said it depends on what they mean by graphic and if they're romanticizing/fetishizing the horrific things#One person replied to me and said fetishizing horrific things doesn't make you an asshole#I said fetishizing things like assault and murder DOES make you an asshole#and then someone else chimes in with 'BuT vOrE?!?!'#Because of course me writing things you would see in a saturday morning cartoon#is equally as bad as someone writing cutesy fanfic about the columbine shooters or dahmer#I swear to god people see that one word and then fully lose their minds#Note how I never said that writing about those things is wrong... I said fetishizing them is wrong#proshitters are really on some other shit entirely#not the first time I've had one tell me I was just as bad as them for what I write#and all of them skip over how I said I DON'T CONSIDER MYSELF PART OF THAT COMMUNITY ANYMORE#like I said. they see that one word#and lose it#long tags#vore mention#rant
