You know I sometimes wonder if light of what Arrow has just done with replacing Black Canary after crapping all over Black Siren, after years of ill treatment of LL/BC, and giving Tina all the things long died to Laurel under the disguise of ‘realism’. I just wonder if Greg Berlanti wrote the 100th episode with the replacement BC mind so he had Oliver tell Laurel he was sorry and she deserved better as way of apology for all this. An loud and clear apology and announcement that she deserved better before the final insult and disgrace cast upon her by the show. Maybe I’m projecting too much onto the 100th episode but when it was written the basic plan to replace Laurel with new BC had to be around. The apology and statement that Laurel always deserved better certainly didn’t come from Marc Guggenheim & Wendy Mericle.
