Every night for the past few days, I’ve been having really crazy dreams about meeting Taylor Swift. One was on a pirate ship (?????) and last night in my dream she got my number and called me and I got to sit pit at lover fest and hang with her back stage. (Yes I know very unrealistic 😫) but these dreams leave me broken hearted when I wake up! I don’t know why, she has just always been my biggest inspiration, and I just want to get to meet her in person and tell her how much she’s effected my life. I just think that would complete my life. Here’s why Scott/Braun/Braun’s wife/Whoever the fuck/‘s version of the story is not adding up:

—Why would Taylor “pass” on owning her own music when that is exactly what she wanted?

—Why would Taylor expose Scott and Scooter’s lack of integrity? What would she gain from that exactly?

—Why would Scott prefer to sell the masters to Taylor’s music to somebody else knowing full well she wanted it and deserved it?

I just wanted to take this opportunity to send you some love over the Internet 💗 please know my head and heart are weighing heavily today, knowing you're being dragged through another personal hell. You've been through so much, and I wish I could comfort you and reassure that it's not fair or right, and that you deserve better. The initial pain of the business deal unfolding I'm sure was beyond words; but then to have people try to invalidate your experiences and turn it into another public bloodbath and debate after you just begun feeling free from the last one? I can't even fathom how that pain would intensify. Despite all that has happened since, I want to thank you for speaking up. You've spent years now, encouraging fans and really anyone who encounters you or your music to speak up when something is wrong. You've encouraged us to speak our truths. You deserve the same. I'm sure you suspected they would try to retaliate, but you stood up for what you deserve and did just as you have in the past- shown that you would and you have stood up for other artists who might be in this situation who aren't as privileged. You shouldn't have to be a martyr for bringing more visibility to some of the most pertinent issues within the music industry, but your integrity and sense of justice for others should not go unacknowledged and unappreciated. I can't promise I can make these rainstorms go away, but me and countless others will walk with you until you're clean of this nasty battle you shouldn't have to fight. The rep era dusted away all your fair-weather friends; for you, the rest of us will always stay. We've survived you not being taken seriously, the VMAs, being slut-shamed, having the Internet turn against you several times, being reduced to a phone call that didn't tell the whole story, being woke-shamed and targeted via cancel culture, not just surviving sexual assault but also the public scrutiny of the trial, AND SO MUCH MORE!! I'm not going to reduce this toxic and abusive situation down to another chink in the armor that you didn't know you needed, because it's not my place to judge your experience and you shouldn't have to endure mind games and manipulation to get where you are going. I'm just here to say that I love you and will stand by you. We've done it before and we'll do it again. Take whatever time you need to mourn what's happened and whatever time you need try to figure out how to cope. But your real friends, your real family, your real fans know true loyalty, and it's always to you. We'll do what we can stand by and support you. You will survive this.
