just peeped the first episode of school spirits on paramount.....i fear my theory is correct, spencer macphersons career peaked with the role of hunter hollingsworth
#this sounds very mean i think spencer is a very talented actor#but the few times ive sought out content w him in it he just plays a generic hot guy with Hints of 'cool loner'#theyve never been able to compare to his time on degrassi#im probably just biased but hunter hollingsworth is just so amazing hes hilarious and over the top and unhinged#ive just attached that mans face to the absolutely deranged actions of the character he played in degrassi#so everytime i see him in something new i just get upset when hes Not hunter#but tbh his talent is being wasted when he plays generic hot guys#he shines as a completely deranged freak. he put his everything into making hunter as offputting and weird as possible#now i cant make too many judgements based solely on the pilot of school spirits#but i checked out like half of astrid and lily bc he was in that#and his character in SS and A&L are near identical😭😭😭 MAKE THAT MAN INSANE !!!!!!!#he needs to find better roles or else im afraid his career peaked with degrassi next class season 1 episode 10#actually the one role i saw him in that compared to the glory of hunter hollingsworth#was this short film he did w jamie bloch where his character was literslly just Hunter but he was a drug dealer and said swears#it almost compared to the real thing but it wasnt enoigh to help me cope w the loss of unhinged hunter post-NC3
