So I just saw a post comparing Post Malone to Machado de Assis a.k.a the biggest name in brazilian literature who is also a black man (and son of ex slaves) how are y'all?

#it also compared taylor to one of the biggest woman in brazilian literature whose most famous book is clearly about class strugles #and a critic against capitalism that is genuinaly very depressing #i struggled rly hard to read the book because it is soo depressing #when my mom read it she spent days stoping to sadly comtemplate it and it sctually changed her perspective about things #and like i still think comparing taylor swift to clarice lispector is better than comparing post malone to machado de assis but not for much #i can't #post malone
