time has passed since i first saw voyager and joined the fandom and at that point the consensus on tumblr was that harry was gay, gay, gay, and that all his flings in the delta quadrant with women don’t really mean anything and i guess that’s valid for a lot of gay fans. i certainly am not going to stop them. but i feel like there’s something worth rescuing in harry’s (admittedly checkered, because the writers could not let harry have a nice time without him being harassed or get an STD) sex life given he was an asian american man in a show from the 90s. when asian men were not considered to be masculine enough to be worthy of being sexually desired by women
