Hey Lit, college student here, I’ve been noticing that a disturbing number of my professors seem resigned to the proliferation of ai and almost seem to be shilling it in a way.
Well, to be honest, that's unfortunately becoming more common across the professional board.
For example, the private school that I was at before the students lied to administration that I 'threw scissors at them'? I posted on here about how they tricked me into a 3-hour shillfest for using AI under the guise of a staff-meeting.
Though, upon retrospect, I should have realized that the owner of that school would have been an AI shill since, on their advertising banner, they proudly posted 'Sponsored by (Cryptocurrency that I forgot the name of)'
And then, even at my current job, back when my new department was having a meeting to prepare for the new semester, someone mentioned how the school needs to invest more money into curriculum planning just for another teacher to barge in with 'Why bother, just have AI do it'
Because yeah... I totally went through a M.Ed and a credentialing program combo just to 'have AI do it, lol'.
