Where does the idea of StarClan cats appearing as the age they were happiest come from? I don't remember, and the wiki doesn't provide an accurate source.
#sourcing on the wiki is odd in general#they'll stick three facts into once sentence and put a source at the end that only actually pertains to the last fact in the sentence#I've come across sources that are straight-up wrong as well#and that's not even getting into implied bits of info or interpretations being written up as fact#this thing about starclan is said all the time but i have no idea whether it was actually stated in a book or if it's an interpretation#it might come up later in oots or it might've already come up and i missed it somehow. i do that sometimes#update: genuinely starting to wonder now if it's someone's runaway headcanon that people forgot wasn't in the books bc they don't read them#my only solution now is to track down every chapter in every book that contains starclan cats and reread them#though i feel like... if i had come across this in a book already i would have made a post about it#I'm now two-thirds of the way through oots so again it could be there#pigeon mews
