#the local elementary school is having their graduation on my campus and we just heard rumors that ICE is down the street#they’re planning on raiding the fucking elementary school graduation#thankfully if we get all the parents on campus we can keep ICE out cuz they cannot come onto campus without a warrant#signed by a judge and then we have to call like 9 different agencies before they can even walk thru the doors#but the kids are scared#they’re supposed to be excited about summer break and they’re worried if they’re going to go home to an empty house#or get picked off the streets walking home#fuck ice#fuck trump#fuck anyone that is on the side of this bullshit#i hope they all die im so for real

When stealing things for his employers, it's not unknown for Copperhead to simply swallow them, especially if they are valuables like gemstones. It's easier and more convenient to carry them this way than waste time stuffing them into a bag that's likely to get snagged on something or get snatched away by a pesky vigilante.

soooooo i was sick for 2 weeks
#rl#pathetic life form#couldn't tell you what i was sick with but i was SICK#it started out as a sore throat#and i lost my voice#but the rest of me felt fine#i have 200+ hrs of sick time and wasn't about to *not* use it so i stayed home#was chugging through a bunch of art#and then i tanked#couldn't sleep bc i couldn't stop coughing (and by extension COULDN'T BREATHE)#ended up going to the ER in the middle of a blizzard at 1 o'clock in the morning w/@panharmonium and roomie#roomie was a hero for driving#esp since the hospital is on the middle of a STEEP HILL#he drops us off and the hospital is LOCKED#and the stairwell to the ER is CLOSED#literally had to hop the chain barrier and then try not to die climbing down the stairs bc they were covered in snow and ice#(again it was blizzarding)#finally make it to the ER!#which is thankfully empty#nurse sean starts to order some tests#then stops and is like 'uh actually. no. i'm just gonna-yeah he'll want to do them.'#back in the waiting room i turn to @pan and say ' i'm picking up on some weird tension between nurse sean and the doctor'#which totally checks out once we meet him#i've never met a doctor so devoid of humanity#mentally/emotionally/spiritually he was in another universe#but i got meds and an inhaler and we all made it home in one piece#i have a lingering cough and my ears are a little funky but i'm so much better!#and i'm sleeping!#@pan took such good care of me 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹#I NEVER WANT TO FEEL THAT WAY AGAIN

went to the gas station & filled up my tank all by myself 👍🏻
#and the world did not explode!!!!#my mom usually fills up my tank just bc driving to places I don’t know makes me NERVOUS#esp bc I’m not a super confident driver and everyone here is so AGGRESSIVE behind the wheel#(I know how to pump gas but again see issues listed above)#but thankfully the gas station was basically empty so I had no issues getting a pump or in and out#was rlly anxious abt it the entire morning but I’m glad it was all okay!!!

The feeling when your friend from elementary/high school (we became friends back in 2006 so we're like sisters by now lol) comes over bringing her 8 years old son and the kid has so much fun around here with me, they decide to stay over for the night... And the next night too... Exactly when I'm extremely short on money (she bought some more food, but she's short on money too) and okay, while I actually enjoy their company, now we don't have tap water on the street and we only realized that when my water tank emptied without refilling at night.
Oops.
#THERE'S NO WATER FOR SOME TIME NOW#ENOUGH FOR MY TANK TO HAVE EMPTIED WE USED ALL THE WATER THERE ALREADY#WTF IS HAPPENING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA#Thankfully we cleaned the dishes...........#That's SO NOT how I was planning to say goodbye to my friends D:
