#despite how hard the graveyard shift can be vis a vis sleep/etc#I really love being by the ocean every day#when cat & I were working at that warehouse lab building test strips#it was just: go inside box with fluorescent lights and leave with a massive migraine#I’d walk after work to the bay or the park cause I needed trees and the ocean lol#so now sometimes here I’ll just stand and look out at the ocean and it’s a really nice place for my mind to be able to go#I want to visit one of the nearby islands once it’s warmer#I like that I can see them in the distance I miss the island I grew up on 24/7
