Man, I never even realized the whole ‘genshin fans using honkai as a backboard for theories’ was a real thing until recently. It’s really insulting sometimes because there won’t even be a semblance of a connection and people who haven’t even played honkai will make incorrect assumptions ab the world and it just hurts so bad…

#honkai impact #arthur talks #like the honkai story has its own lore and if you just took the time it’s entirely different from genshin #I remember someone telling me that genshin and honkai definitely did share a lore connection and now that I’m rlly into both #I just feel like..not really??#honkai and genshin have two fundamentally different premises #the only connection is that their company reuses designs #and names #if you want to make honkai incorporated into the genshin world then just give it a chance…Please.#it’s fine if you wanna use honkai lore to speculate ab genshin lore.
