imagine you're watching the first season of the last of us, seeing joel and ellie's bond steadily developing into a moving father-daughter relationship where ellie's presence and fresh perspective on life brings back joel's will to live, but then, just as the show is about to end, they turn the two of them into a couple through an episode filled with ridiculous sitcom-esque romcom scenarios. horrifying, right? that's what watching jack and ashi get together in samurai jack season 5 felt like
