magic isn't real. 'intentions' and thinking and saying or not saying words in particular orders does not influence the general luckiness of ones future. there is no foreshadowing in real life.

#this is for myself bc i just saw a post that. was being nice. saying 'stay safe is a magic spell of blessing' or something #which is. nice. but. makes me go 'oh god I frequently don't say 'stay safe' I say other things to say goodbye what if...'#i wish people would tag those things with magical thinking or something #them and those 'reblog the lucky potato' like it's so stupid but it makes me feel bad #I unfollow over these kinds of posts (unless we are besties in which case I would probably message u lol)#so if you've found you're suddenly unfollowed by me as a mutual it's probably from that lol #magical thinking #the locus of control of the universe is NOT within me #it's within George Orr of The Lathe Of Heaven lol
