( chris hemsworth, 33, cismale ) Word around the quadrant is that (DR. PARKER GIBBS) is originally from (LIEVIS), but have been on the terminus for (SIX MONTHS). If you’re in a pinch, he is  a talented (BIOLOGIST). Is that why they’re the (SCIENTIST)? Anyway, everyone says he is  (+INTELLIGENT) and (+HARD WORKING), but don’t get on their bad side because they’re (-SELF-ABSORBED) and (-STUBBORN).  Oh shoot, don’t look now! He has their (PLASMA PISTOL) out! (ooc: nicholas, 24, est gmt -5:00, he/him/his, none)
He was born in Brittas on Lievis and went to school in Gria before returning to his hometown. He’s fairly open about his home planet and early life. He’s not estranged from his parents but he doesn’t really talk about them much. (”We just don’t talk all that much.”)
Parker is a biologist, with a very strong focus on ecology. His primary focus will always be on how nature interacts with each other along with sustainability. He is also very skilled in other biology related areas, and while not an expert, is reasonably skilled at chemistry when needed. He’s not afraid to loudly declare his expertise, either.
While he is a skilled scientific talent, he isn’t a household name. It would, however, be very likely for academics who study biology to be familiar with some of his work. They would also likely be aware that he has been widely rejected from the greater scientific community due to falsified data that was published under his name. He’s very unwilling to talk about it though and would never bring it up unsolicited.
If Parker is on a planet he hasn’t visited (and there are many!) he’ll likely scurry off trying to observe anything he can find in the planet’s ecosystem. It’s all just so fascinating to him. He doesn’t really have the means to conduct actual experiments or get real data, but he’ll jot down notes for comparison later. Bonus points if there’s a forest. He feels really at home in any forest. This also translates to him being totally up for any sort of hiking or other outdoor activities, as long as he gets some time to himself to make notes.
He’s not a very good bounty hunter right now because he was never really interested in it. Now that it’s clear the Terminus will be his new home for a considerable while, it’s apparent he isn’t up to snuff. There’s the makings of a decent bounty hunter in there, but it’ll take some prodding and trial and error before he can really shine.
He can be rather fickle with starting conversations because he’d rather focus on his research or whatever project he’s working on. If you get him talking though? Hoo boy, he will talk your ear off. Doubly so if it’s something that he’s actually interested in. He can also be quite candid but it’s not to pick on anybody specifically. He’s just that way with everyone.
He’s a lightweight. He won’t admit that he’s a lightweight either but it’ll become very obvious very quickly. A big guy with a huge ego doesn’t translate well when he drinks either.
He likes explosions. He’s not the kind of guy that would go around purposefully exploding things, but he’ll cheer, laugh, holler and generally geek out should there be one (”Whoa!  Look at how fucking big that was!”). He will not admit that this might seem weird at all. It’s totally normal for an esteemed scientist to be interested in the chemical process involved.
Hello!/Bonjour! I’m Nicholas. I’m 24 years old and Parker (Dr. Parker Gibbs, as he will correct someone if they make a mistake) is a self-absorbed jerkwad but he’ll come around eventually since he doesn’t really have much of a choice anymore. I’m always open to plots. Gimme all the plots! If there’s anything else you would like to know please reach out. Connection page can be found [here].

( lee hyun jae, 26, cis male ) Word around the quadrant is that ( ALEXEI ‘ALEX’ BLUE ) is originally from (PHIUS), but have been on the terminus for (FIVE MONTHS). If you’re in a pinch, he’s a talented (FISCAL MANAGER). Is that why he’s the/a (TREASURER)? Anyway, everyone says he’s (+INTELLIGENT) and (+METICULOUS), but don’t get on his bad side because he’s (-RECALCITRANT) and (-UNFORGIVING).  Oh shoot, don’t look now! He has his (TASER) out!
Alex, in general, is a pretty aloof guy. He used to be a big asshole but he’s trying to change now, though it’s not working out so well because of his high-and-mighty attitude.
He’s someone who hates getting his hands dirty, preferring to work in a controlled environment inside some sort of institution. If he has to go out of the Terminus for any kind of fieldwork, you can be sure that he’ll grumble about it.
Although he hates fieldwork, traveling around just for the sake of it is a favorite hobby of his. He collects trinkets and souvenirs from everywhere he visited, and he keeps a journal of places he loves. If you mention somewhere he knows, he won’t stop talking about it.
He’s good with numbers and money. Because he’s the treasurer of the ship, he always keeps check of the materials the ship has at any point in time, whether it be food, weapons, or tech pieces. He’s also the person handling contracts and payments from the Company.
He may seem like a smooth and suave guy sometimes, but in reality, he’s quite awkward when it comes to being a friend. He’s constantly asking himself what is he supposed to do and what are the generally accepted social boundaries between friends.
He thinks in terms of personal benefits before the common good. This usually makes him excellent at predicting enemy movements or terrible at reading people, because he believes everyone’s just as self-centered as he is. His assumptions can be insulting to those who are more self-sacrificing.
Alex hates violence and fighting. He thinks physical brawls are below him and never stays to watch any conflict in the Terminus. He loathes close combat weapons such as knives and brass knuckles, though long-range weapons such as guns are more tolerable. Blood is unsightly to him – if there’s too much blood present, he’ll feel nauseous and may even faint.
He doesn’t like being told what to do. He’ll rebel against direct orders if he feels like it. If you want Alex to do something, you have to convince him that it’s what he himself wants to do. He doesn’t think that he’s an employee of the Company – rather, he thinks they’re in a mutualistic relationship where he gets paid to travel around the universe in exchange for a few services.
You may find him frequently wandering around the Terminus at night. He’s always had a hard time sleeping and he likes looking at the stars.
He’s easily riled up. Behind that calm and collected appearance is a rather explosive personality. Also, if you betray him in any way, he’ll never forgive you. He values loyalty and he can hold his grudges for a long, long time.
He’s a pleasure-seeker – a hedonist, if you will. Before joining the Terminus, he used to live around Selmar Palace City, which is notorious for its pleasure-oriented businesses. Alex has tried them all: gambling, drugs, sex, and other kinds of entertainment. He’s curbed his bad habits now that he’s living in close quarters with many people, but that doesn’t mean he’s completely abandoned them. If he thinks you’re interested, he’ll draw you into doing something ‘fun’.
WHAT PEOPLE DON’T KNOW:
… is that Alex used to be a prince, once upon a time. His family was killed violently in a coup, and subsequent natural disasters had resulted in an exodus. Now, his home planet is void of life, and he travels around in hope of finding some of his people. He just wants to know if they’re doing all right. Otherwise, he doesn’t care much about anything else.

R E T R I E V I N G   D A T A . . . Word around the quadrant is that (ISA) is originally from (UNKNOWN), but has been on the Terminus for (LESS THAN A WEEK). If you’re in a pinch, he is a talented (ANDROID). Is that why he’s the (GOFER)? Anyway, everyone says he is (CALCULATED) and (PERCEPTIVE), but don’t get on his bad side because he’s (GUARDED) and (SELF-PRESERVING). Oh shoot, don’t look now! He has his (STUN CHARGES) out!
Hello hello! I’m Ky, a they, and here’s ISA, a ‘bot of many secrets. Some of which even he doesn’t know - not that he’ll admit it. He’s like that. His story is a slower one, but I’m sure this crew of hooligans will draw it out in time. Until then, he’s the resident internally screaming doomba. For more connections, check this out, or message me on here or Discord! Always happy to scheme. ACCESSING DRIVE://COMMONKNOWLEDGE
The Terminus’s resident android is “new to you,” picked up out of the Yards of Keres barely a week ago by Jaxer and Nox. Anybody familiar with the Yards would know that there’s a very good chance their new ‘bot is a less than legal resale, but, hey. A deal’s a deal. How much trouble could he be?
According to all certifications, which are absolutely kosher, obviously, Isa is a Vostov Sokol; a discreet security model, common in Company service. It would be only sensible to assume that he was somebody’s personal unit, given the non-standard, high-end superficial build... though, that does leave the question of who would dump a perfectly functional tailored Sokol. They’re not cheap. Isa has no idea. His memory was - as per usual, in those chop shops - entirely wiped. So, who knows? Does it matter? One man’s scrap, as they say.
The Sokol line isn’t known for its personality - they’re made to break stuff, like bones, and withstand endless guard duty. Their AI is fairly domain specific, largely focused on strategic anticipation. As such, most people wouldn’t expect Isa to really be somebody, at least not the type you get to know. He’s just... thoroughly polite, in that, well, robotic way. Eager to please. Glad to be useful. All quite typical of your average android. Except, now and then, there’s something else; a flicker of curiosity, of engagement, of perceptiveness, that just doesn’t seem to fit. Maybe somebody’s starting to notice. And wonder. Maybe they’re not, but, to their surprise, find themselves enjoying his attentive company.
As for what he does aboard the Terminus, Isa has been saving the crew time and sore backs by handling their supply freight, and saving them boredom by standing guard duty over the ship and their deliveries. He’s not exactly on probation - it’s just that nobody’s come up with a better way to make use of him. Seems there’s bound to be some discussion of this as their next mission arrives. Who will want Isa to stay behind, as a barkless guard dog, or a liability they don’t trust? Who’s going to push to bring their new android with, as a walking damage sponge or some titanium-backed muscle? How is he going to fit into the team, old and new?
ACCESSING DRIVE://SECRETS
Truth is, Isa was more than a deal. He was free. Nox and Jaxer turned up in their chop shop of choice to find some top notch pirated parts, several brutally murdered mechanics, and a bloody android. Now, even those androids permitted to harm human beings - such as bodyguard ‘bots - are only enabled to do so given certain circumstances. The only body for Isa to be guarding, however, was his own. That’s not supposed to count. So far, Jaxer, Nox, and Isa have kept the messier details of his “purchase” to themselves. Their little secret.
While Isa claims that his memory banks were cleared by those choppers, it’s not that simple. His flash memory - the last twenty fours hours, to be sorted into hard memory or discarded - was deleted entirely, meaning he honestly has no idea what led to his being left in that garage. What he does remember is riddled with holes, scenes that just cut out and change. He knows he’s missing an optional drive, a small thing, incorrectly uninstalled; having been unable to find it in the shop he woke up in, Isa has to assume it was taken. Why, though? What was so important? Does he want to know, or is he better off without?
There’s a few reasons Isa insists on doing his own maintenance. Given a moment’s look, any mechanic or programmer worth their salt would be able to tell that he sure as hell isn’t what he says he is. Unless Vostov has radically upped their game. Technorganic androids, the product of biological inspiration and engineering innovation, are still a rarer, lucrative project, dogged by difficulties. And AGI? Something you find in systems more often than androids, and even then, a relatively recent leap. Isa is all that, and he knows what it means - which is why he keeps it to himself. The cutting edge is a dangerous place, and tech corps are notorious for paying top dollar, under the table, to get a look at what their competitors are doing. Whatever Isa was built to be, it’s worth a shit-ton to the right people. What’s it worth to the crew?
