I haven't seen anyone mention it and it's been on my mind a lot -

Do y'all think about the implications of the redemption system in hazbin hotel? We all agree Sir Pentious had to redeem himself, then DIE again to be sent to heaven.

So like, imagine the ANGST potential of that.

Let's take for example Angel, trying very hard to redeem himself - but he'll never know if he's actually "worthy" of heaven until he actually just dies again.

What if he wasn't cleansed of his sins ? How can they know for sure ? Someone has to pull the trigger. Kill him without knowing if it'll actually work.

And either he's sent to heaven and it's great, either he wasn't redeemed and... Well. He's dead. The hotel lost a family member forever.

What if they just never try to die because they're too scared they won't be accepted into heaven ? Well then they're pursuing an eternal goal, staying in hell, and it might just drive them crazy as well.

I don't know I'm just having thoughts.
