American attitude towards sex is really crazy, and you can literally seep it into so many aspects of the culture. Like yeah, catholicism is a big part of Polish culture, and it does impact the way many people approach and think about sex, I won't say that it doesn't, but American culture takes it up to eleven.
Have you noticed how Americans use "pure" as a positive adjective? Literal Polish equivalent would be "czysty" (both pure and clean in a literal sense) or "niewinny" (more in the line of "innocent"), and yeah they're positive adjectives, but I can't imagine anyone describing their favorite character like that; People usually use them in like, religious contexts.
Or how often people act as if two characrers having sex/a sexual relationship would make their relationship less "deep"? I know that it's often tied to homophobia, but this is such a bizzare claim. It's hard for me to imagine a Polish creator saying this and be taken seriously, Polish movies or games or tv shows in general have no problem with showing sex, even gay sex (maybe not mainstream cinema, okay, but more indie production will do so happily).
