HOW DO YOU MISS THE POINT THAYT BADLY.#& like. what argument is she even making?? the ody is secretly evil???? because hes not!#this essay makes me insane in the worst way. i love how she forgets the main plot point of the odyssey#(odysseus being cursed) . you cant blame the fact that his men died on the fact that hes a bad leader#(WHICH HE ISNT. hes a great leader who cares about his men)#WHEN ITS BECAUSE POSEIDON CURSED HIM.#also the way she frames xenia makes me SO MAD .#its not some 'particularly exciting gift of guest-friendship' its an ancient greek belief#& societal expectation that travelers will be welcome in ones home. what in the actual world is this woman talking about#odysseus is a good person & i will die on this hill btw
