hate how its so hard to celebrate independence day atp bc the movement is falling apart in slow motion the longer the years go by but happy birthday amba <3
#the crisis is something thats been happening at different speeds through decades and my family got history. its a shame its come to this but#its not unexpected when there was infighting starting and external factors pushing madness so fast like one year into the protest spike 2016#all i wish for is freedom#its so bad too since a lot of the communication even in the early periods was through fb and w-app and that cannot last forever with african#politics. theres a lot of intricacies that overtime have just come harder to track and bigger reputable media of course wouldnt know that#the ones that report fairly have done what they can and i see it. talking abt the crisis in 2022 is not the same as it was pre-2018/9#too many sub-groups. activists and sellouts. military infiltration. just general thieves and criminals. the usual after too long#from skimming the wiki its been updated pretty well#some things im on the the fence about but others are accurate from my own tracking of the issue
