god i love riptide. who wants to talk about how the prophecy has split and changed over the centuries and how we still dont actually know the original version of it
#my post#the trees version in 110 is an ancient version but the tree itself said its not the first!!!!!#WHAT IS GILLS PROPHECY EVEN#its really fascinating to me bcus it seems like everyone dropped the first half of it (the bit that talks about the entity)#then it split between oversea and undersea#THEN it split between shallow and deep#i wonder how many versions of the prophecy are out there!! i wonder which version the navy are using?#obv the oversea version but i wonder if its the same one we saw in the sun city?#or do they have their own?#what would their version even look like..#a hero born of sunlight storm and sea?#likely the same bits about 'unity' and deciding the fate of the world#ohh. oh. the navy views unity as Control. the navys prophecy is interpreted as ruling the world
