you know what im going to say it

there is no love triangle in the hunger games

ok hear me out this is more applicable to the books than the films because we know Katniss’ thoughts but she says alot that shes not ready to be in a relationship with gale maybe at some point but not now and she doesnt love peeta either, its all an act she is fighting for her life trying to save her, gale and her family by pretending to love peeta. it can be debated if she does actually love him romantically by the end or if its just all they went through together but by the time that that happens gale has started becoming a person that katniss doesnt like anymore (war crazy and complicit in blowing up her sister)

i feel like “the love triangle” is less about peeta vs gale and more about Katniss and her inner struggle with her situation and her ideology

#ive always felt i understand katniss more than everyone else #ive just been struck silly by people thinking theirs a love triangle #also i know this is a decade to late for talking about the hunger games #but its something i enjoy immensely #and i just dont see people taking away the samethings from it as i have so i wanted to spread my thoughts #i am really tired tho #its a sleep diprived rant #why do i always think about the hunger games when im tired #the hunger games #katniss everdeen
