Sonia booked a family spa day for everyone at the most well-renowned spa in Tartosa!

After a few more glasses, once their cheeks felt warm and their laughter felt loose, the couple made their way away from the bar and out into the sobering cool air of the Tartosian night.

And of course, as what happens when two artists fall in love and get married, their flirtation was all as gorgeous as Gaugin’s Arearea and as mesmerizing as Dalí’s Galatea of Spheres. Whatever all that means.

As they wrapped up their night, Julian took Sonia into his arms and they danced to the soft music playing on the speaker* that reminded Sonia fondly of their wedding several years prior.

Meanwhile, in the backyard....

Mama Sonia and step-dad Julian were having some fun of their own 👀

Start of summer after sophomore year means sneaking some draaanks at the local basketball court with your friends ✨

Lightweight Levi ™️  strikes again. 👀 

They’d been friends since they were kids, but lately, Levi’s started... noticing Thalia a lot more 👀  Feeling some liquid courage to back him up, he makes a few lame, pseudo-flirty jokes with her, and surprise, surprise! She laughs.

But what on earth could that mean...

The little family settled in for a lovely three days in Tartosa at a beautiful villa just outside of town.

Sonia relaxed easy, confident that she was the absolute best scourer of SimBNB that she knew.

Unfortunately, the experience there had..... mixed results.

While Julian soaked away his troubles and Violet got the best manicure of her life, Sonia was being manhandled by her masseuse and Levi was all around just being an Angry Boy ™️ .

Once Thalia explained that she’d just been busy with her family and that’s why she’d been MIA, Levi felt pretty silly for being so worried about it. He invited her to meet up at the San Myshuno Botanical Garden for the afternoon, and she agreed.

When Eli dropped the kids off back at their mom’s house, Sonia asked what they did in the city.

Eli took the opportunity to once again brag about his curry championship. 

Just let it die, Eli!!!!

When they finally went back home for the night, Violet went through her 15 step skin care routine and called it a night. Levi got into the pizza rolls (of course) and his dad kept him company– the two night owls.

As they settled in, the first thing Violet decided she wanted to do was go to the gym in the nice part of town– it had a rock wall she’d been dying to try out (and race her dad on). Levi made up some lame excuse to stay behind.

Because...

He’d finally gotten a reply from Thalia. 👀

During the school year, the twins came over every other weekend. But over summer vacation, Elliot and Sonia would split it 50/50, which meant even more time with his kids. Elliot was so excited to have them staying with him!

The next morning, Sonia was feeling sentimental about her kids going to their dad’s for the rest of summer break. They’d been doing this for years and years, but it never got any easier to hug and kiss them goodbye and come home to a quiet house.

She got up early and made their favorite– chocolate chip pancakes. 

But when Levi came to the table, she could tell something was bothering him. Breakfast was his favorite food and he hardly seemed excited about the pancakes.

The little family slowly settled back into their usual, non-vacation routines. ✨
