Wait does Sartre know that they are vampires? He listened to that conversation for a while right? And him and Armand know each other by first names?
Armand, did you fuck Jean-Paul Sartre?

Have you ever looked at someone and wondered what is going on inside their head?
🎶 Come to me… You little whore🎶
Louis’ shame, guilt, and self loathing is so severe that he wrote a Kendrick Lamar level diss track about HIMSELF and hallucinated Lestat performing it 😩

I don't know how the show is going to handle lesmand, but I 100% do not believe it happened the way Armand said. Like yes, I do believe Lestat wrecked his coven--and maybe somewhere inside Armand did want that. But I can't believe it was all part of some plan.
Also, the way Lestat is so dismissive of Nicki's feelings when he sees Armand and Lestat in that box. Lestat loved Nicki.
But I do like the way it sort of calls back to the Louis/Lestat/Antoinette thing. Bc Lestat did something similar with those two; he let Louis see him with Antoinette. So in this scenario, Nicki=Louis and Armand=Antoinette. Which paints Armand as both a victim and a villain, the poor mislead lover seduced by someone he thinks loves him, as well as someone who doesn't really care about whether the person he wants is available. But we (and Daniel) are supposed to feel sympathy for him in this situation.
(And there was no Gabrielle anywhere at all. Dammit, I wanna see her!)
Like, I believe lesmand may have fucked, since they can in the show. But I don't think they shared blood, bc that's a pretty intimate thing for vampires. Like, basically vampire sex. And maybe Lestat would have been fine with screwing Armand human style. I can see him using it as some sort of manipulation tool. Bc in the books, he does leave Nicki to Armand's care, but at that point Nicki was like, done with Lestat and full on in his depression era. And maybe he felt like fucking Armand would have gotten him to agree to look after Nicki?
Like, I feel like there had to be some truth sprinkled in there. Like our girl Claudia said, the best lies got some truth to them.

Rewatched 2x03 3 different times and came to the slow realization that I am now obsessed with Armand. Louis and Daniel I understand you.
