Truth & Inference headcanons working together

It's been a while since I wanted to put down on paper all the knowledge I have about the Truth & Inference universe, so… here it is

D.M/Désire Mélodis

• As a famous nobleman and art teacher, in front of others he treats you well and pleasantly, not so much when behind closed doors,

• He often sends you on missions with Noir or simply to come if Gatto is okay,

• Even though it doesn't seem like much, he actually cares about you, always teasing you and things like that,

• If you stay in the same environment as him, Noir and Tuberose, the only one who will defend you will be Noir because both Tuberose and D.M will provoke you,

• D.M is like a devil in human skin, but anyway he thinks you are a very important person in his life and will take care of you,

• He often likes to show you off as his, even though you are just an employee at his service, he is very proud of the little mouse he has in his hands

Gatto/Aesop Carl

• Gatto is by no means a person who enjoys company other than four-legged furry ones, but after so long he has learned not to care so much about you,

• Cat and the other kitties seem to just love you, so it makes Gatto feel a little better around you,

• Both you and him share the fear of being left alone with Tuberose,

• As you have a degree in chemistry, he usually asks for your help when he has some difficulty in an experiment,

• Usually trusts you to make his coffee and look after Cat while he's away,

• You are the only person he trusts to tell you that he has been leaking information about D.M to Sir Inference and you don't really care about it, but you still promised to keep it secret from the others for the safety of the Silent Rebel

Tuberose/Jack

• As soon as D.M told him that you would be his partner, be sure he held back a lot until the day he could have your confidence to tease you,

• Generally he likes to talk about Lady Rosemary and you can be sure that this conversation only ends when you end up sleeping,

• Even though he is an idiotic provocateur, he is very kind when he wants to be,

• As I said, he has his moments of kindness, presenting you with flowers, but then he goes back to teasing you again if he sees your face flushed,

• Pray you never have him and D.M in the same room, they both love to tease you,

• We all know that Tuberose is a hot man, and he clearly knows that so the normal tease he uses on you is just how you look at his six-pack on display.

Noir/Saphir Mélodis

• You and him always worked together because you both wanted to, not at D.M's request,

• Since you've known each other since you were children, it's as if you two can read each other's minds and that helps a lot when it comes to getting your hands dirty,

• It's not just him who has a certain affection for you, Leon your falcon also likes you a lot and likes to receive affection from you,

• D.M lets the two of you stay together because he says Noir is happy in his company and performs great on missions when he's by his side,

• Of course, not everything is a bed of roses, after all, there isn't a day that goes by that Tuberose doesn't tease you because of his childhood relationship with Noir,

• In the same way that Tuberose provokes you, Noir always appears at the right times to save you, of course, not before giving beautiful answers to Tuberose

Lady Truth/Emma Woods

• You, her and Mr. Inferece met at the orphanage and have been together ever since.

• She is very affectionate and dedicated to her two childhood friends, so there won't be a day that goes by that you are sad that she doesn't try to make a smile appear on your face,

• Unlike Mr. Inference, she is not as serious and is more relaxed, trying her best to make the agency's atmosphere light,

• She loves to surprise you with her favorite snack at least one day a week, it only changes when it's your birthday week which is every day and on your birthday she throws a surprise party for you,

• When it comes to investigations, she relies heavily on her deductive potential, so while she looks for clues, she usually lets you come up with the line of reasoning to solve the case,

• Once a month she changes the flowers in the vase on her table, always to her favorite flowers.

Mr. Inference/Naib Subedar

• He always saw you as a little brother/sister,

• Even with his serious demeanor, he cares a lot about you and often asks if you're okay,

• When the two of you are alone, he often shares his concerns about D.M.

• Usually you, him and Lady Truth go to events as guests and you can be sure that you are the only person who can calm him down when they meet D.M,

• D.M, in turn, really likes to provoke the detective and you, which clearly doesn't come very cheaply to the count,

• As your relationship with him is long-standing, you understand each other without needing words and he also trusts your deduction a lot.

White/Saphir Mélodis

• He is always extremely affectionate with you,

• You two haven't known each other long, but you feel like you've known each other for a long time,

• His owl also loves to sit on his shoulder and receive affection,

• He usually sleeps at work, according to him it's a nap to work better, but he usually keeps muttering things like "I really like your company" and things like that while he calls your name in his sleep,

• On his days off he loves going out with you to a park and being able to sleep under a tree on your lap, according to him it's a moment of peace for him,

• There's no denying that he's extremely cute, and sometimes he uses that to his advantage to get your attention.

"I don't like Rosemary" they mumbled into Jack's scarf, digging their head deeper into his chest. A soft chuckle enters their ears as Tuberose strokes the back of their neck with an amused expression on his unmasked face.

"Dear, you do remember that we're only here because D.M ordered us to come to Bél��stáin in order to find out the secret behind her specimens?" he hummed, rubbing circles into his betrothed's back.

"I know but I don't like that you have to be so close to her, why not me instead?" they complained, removing their head from Tuberose's neck. Jack cupped their face with one of his hands, pressing a kiss to their forehead.

"Because, I don't want the other people that inhabit this island to hate you and because I don't want Rosemary to fall in love with you and your wonderful personality," he chuckled, his voice going an octave deeper as he tilts their head up so they're both staring into each others' eyes.

"and because the Ripper might get out of hand if he ever sees you being so close to someone so filthy" he added. His hand reaches for their own as he laces their fingers together, pressing a tender kiss to their knuckles.

Jack smiles at his lover, pressing their lips together gently as he slips his long tongue past their lips. He sucks gingerly on their smaller pink tongue, drawing out soft whimpers from them. Letting go of their hand, he trailed it down to the small of their back before parting from their lips.

He grinds them back and forth on his lap, smirking at their embarrassed face. "Only you can make such a mess out of me love, no one else could ever even hope to replace you" he leans down, supporting their back as he trails kisses down their neck.

A sharp tearing sound is heard in the room, (Name) shivers at the rush of cool air enveloping their entire body. Jack groans at the sight of his beloved, throwing away the ripped large shirt which was the only thing preventing him from seeing their lovely body. Eyeing their body, still littered with his bites and hickeys from their last love making session.

He lifts them up with ease, walking over to their shared bed and placing them on it gently. The bed dips when he gets on top of them, eyes trained on their body with a loving yet lustful look on his handsome face.

They bashfully cover their body, refusing to meet the hunter's gaze. Jack removes their hands, pinning them above their head. "Nuh uh, don't cover your beautiful body dear" he scolds in a lighthearted manner, waving his finger at them disapprovingly.

Their cheeks burn an even darker shade of red when he began kissing their collarbone, trailing delicate kisses down until he reached their sensitive bud. He flicks his tongue against it, gently sucking and listening to the lewd sounds leaving their mouth.

He lets go of their wrists, one of their hands flocking to grip onto his head while the other placed itself onto his shoulder. Tuberose diligently sucks on one bud, his other other hand pinching and rolling their other nipple.

Soft high pitched cries poured out of their mouth as he lowers his head to their throbbing sex, gently lapping at their dripping arousal. He presses his mouth onto the sensitive organ, sucking up all their juices fervently.

"J, Jack, I want you in me a, already" they force out with great difficulty, trying to contain their moans and cries whilst gently pulling Jack away from their genital.

"Impatient are we?" the tall man teases, sitting up and ridding himself of his own garments. (Name) ogles their husband's body, smiling a seemingly innocent smile at the thought of owning the man in front of them. 'Mine, all mine and only mine' they mused, a soft giggle leaving their pink and bitten lips.

They gesture for Tuberose to get on top of them, pulling him closer by putting their arms around his neck and their legs around his waist. They lean onto his shoulder, at least, that's what Jack thought they were doing. Tuberose's lips part, a choked moan of pain leaving his mouth.

(Name) licks the bite mark they made on his neck, pressing a soft kiss onto the mark before batting their eyelashes guiltlessly at him. "Mine, you're all mine, I'm all yours too" they say with a soft yet gleeful tone.

Tuberose grins, amused yet affectionate as he pinches their cheek. "I'm all yours, no one else's, you're all mine because I'll get rid of everyone that tries to steal you away from me" he whispers, almost growling at the very end of his sentence.

"I knowww, just fill me up already, 's too empty without you" they whine, pressing their forehead against his own. His grin melts into a smile as he aligns his large member with their hole before gently pushing in.

Moans and groans of pleasure spill out of their mouths as Tuberose bottoms out. His thrusts start off slow before he slowly began pounding them, the sound of skin slapping against skin fills the room along with their pleasured moans.

Tuberose reaches up with one hand, cupping their face once more. "We can go all night if your body can take it love" he promises, a lewd purr-like sound leaving his darling's mouth.

"Y, you sure sound pleased with the thought of that" he mumbles, groaning at the feeling of them tightening even more.

Harvest Moon + Friday the 13th

The Harvest Moon is sailing toward us, arriving nonchalantly on Friday, 13th 2019 as if that’s a perfectly normal and acceptable thing to do. The nerve!

But we are here for it, and you, with a cluster of Lunacy offerings to sweeten the season and ward off any unnecessarily hard luck.

HARVEST MOON

Harvest Moon is celebrated in almost every culture, and the bounty of the season is marked in a myriad of ways. Harvest Moon touches the Equinox, the festival of Janus, the culmination of Homowo, the “crying of the neck” in Cornwall, and the Women’s Festival of the Moon. This is a day that celebrates abundance and beauty, fertility and progress, and the light of this full moon blesses new undertakings and reunites lost loves.

The Harvest Moon, by definition, is the Full Moon that falls closest to the Autumnal Equinox, and thus, it shares some of that Sabbat’s characteristics. This Full Moon was thus named because it rises within half an hour of the sun’s setting, in the Northern Hemisphere, and at this time farmers are able to work longer into the night by the light of this Moon. As the year draws to a close, the Full Moon rises an average of fifty minutes later each night, with the exception of a few nights surrounding the Harvest Moon, which only rises 10-30 minutes later. This moon is also, to the human eye, the fullest and largest of the year’s Moons, hanging gloriously huge, yellow and low in the night sky, and many lunar illusions play tricks our eyes at this time.

The Harvest ushers in many celebrations, including the Equinox and the Festival of Janus, God of Doors. Janus is the Roman Lord of Gateways, beginnings and endings, and transitions. Thus, the Harvest Moon is a time for blessing new ventures, the onset of new and progressive phases in one’s life, and rites of passage into adulthood. This time of year also marks one of the Festivals of Dionysus, Lord of Ecstasy and the Vine.

This Harvest lunacy blend combines the autumnal scents of dry leaves, mulling spices, balsam fir, pine needles, cedar, juniper berry, clove, saffron, damson plum, white sage, yarrow, and lily twined with Dionysus’ sacred grapes and ivy, a bounty of apple, black fig, and pumpkin, and the amaranth and lingum aloes of Janus, all touched by a gentle breath of festival woodsmoke and sweet wine.

13 is significant, whether you consider it lucky, unlucky or just plain odd. Many believe it to be unfortunate…

…because there were 13 present at the Last Supper.

…Loki crashed a party of 12 at Valhalla, which ended in Baldur’s death.

…Oinomaos killed 13 of Hippodamia’s suitors before Pelops finally, in his own shady way, defeated the jealous king.

…In ancient Rome, Hecate’s witches gathered in groups of 12, the Goddess herself being the 13th in the coven.

 Concern over the number thirteen echoes back beyond the Christian era. Line 13 was omitted form the Code of Hammurabi.

The shivers over Friday the 13th also have some interesting origins:

…Christ was allegedly crucified on Friday the 13th.

…On Friday, October 13, 1307, King Philip IV of France ordered the arrests of Jaques de Molay, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, and sixty of his senior knights.

…In British custom, hangings were held on Fridays, and there were 13 steps on the gallows leading to the noose.

To combat the superstition, Robert Ingersoll and the Thirteen Club held thirteen-men dinners during the 19th Century. Successful? Hardly. The number still invokes trepidation to this day. A recent whimsical little serial killer study showed that the following murderers all have names that total thirteen letters:

And, with a little stretch of the imagination, you can also fit “Jack the Ripper” and “Charles Manson” into that equation. 

More current-era paranoia: modern schoolchildren stop their memorization of the multiplication tables at 12. There were 13 Plutonium slugs in the atomic bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki. Apollo 13 wasn’t exactly the most successful space mission. All of these are things that modern triskaidekaphobes point to when justifying their fears.

For some, 13 is an extremely fortuitous and auspicious number… 

…In Jewish tradition, God has 13 Attributes of Mercy. Also, there were 13 tribes of Israel, 13 principles of Jewish faith, and 13 is considered the age of maturity.

…The ancient Egyptians believed that there were 12 stages of spiritual achievement in this lifetime, and a 13th beyond death.

…The word for thirteen, in Chinese, sounds much like the word which means “must be alive”. 

Thirteen, whether you love it or loathe it, is a pretty cool number all around.

…In some theories of relativity, there are 13 dimensions.

…It is a prime number, lucky number, star number, Wilson Prime, and Fibonacci number.

…There are 13 Archimedean solids.

AND…

…There were 13 original colonies when the United States were founded.

Says a lot about the US, doesn’t it?

This version of 13 is a departure from our usual theme for this ongoing project. Headcanons Truth & Inference Lovers

Today I wasn't going to write anything because I woke up sore and sick, but as I felt a little better, and I saw something that made my day, I decided to write a little. I removed Emma and Naib because unfortunately I didn't know much, but in their place I put Rosemary

D.M/Désire Mélodis

• If he already showed you off when you were just his employee, now that you're his groom/bride, he won't give you a moment's peace,

• He cares about you, of course, but that doesn't mean he doesn't tease you and irritate you sometimes,

• To recap what we already know, D.M is a demon among humans, so unless you like not walking for days, don't irritate him,

• His snake has great affection for you, so it's normal for it to wrap itself around you while you're sitting on D.M.'s lap on his orders,

• He loves seeing your face blush when he says it loudly at parties, "I'm sorry, ladies, but I don't want to keep my beautiful bride Y/n waiting for me", yes, he says it loud and clear for everyone to hear,

• Honestly, Mr. Inference and Gatto really feel sorry for you

Noir/Saphir Mélodis

• I'm sorry, but your right to go on missions with him has been revoked at his request,

• He cares enough about you to keep you away from all the dangers of the missions he and you were on,

• When he's not on missions or it's at night, he loves sharing calming moments like taking a shower together or sleeping cuddled together, which he says calms him down after a stressful day.

• There isn't a day that goes by that Tuberose doesn't tease you, of course you also tease him back, so Noir usually watches the mini wars that you and Tuberose have,

• Leon already liked you a lot and with you officially being family, the hawk allowed himself to get attached to you,

• He's not as present as possible, but he tries to make up for it by spoiling you whenever D.M allows him to rest

Tuberose/Jack

• Let's start with a fact, he will only stay with you if Lady Rosemary also likes you,

• His face was once a reason for you to fight with him, but after he showed it to you, after months of pestering him about it, you never wanted to see him with a mask again,

• Rosemary thinks the relationship you two have is cute and is happy to participate in it too,

• He tends to be quite protective of you and Rosemary, so it's not surprising that if he sees D.M teasing you he'll get jealous,

• He'll never admit it, but he loves it when you sit on his lap and Rosemary plays with his hair, he finds moments like that comforting,

• You and Rosemary are his treasure, so he will not rest until you are both satisfied in every way, he is a man devoted to both of his treasures

Rosemary/Grace

• What led her to accept you in a relationship with Tuberose was her knowledge of plants,

• As she is usually busy with important matters, she tends to leave you alone most of the time, but that never stopped you from going to her and massaging her shoulders,

• Tuberose likes how hard you are to be in a relationship with him and Rosemary,

• She may also end up suffering from jealousy if she sees you with DM a lot and when that happens she doesn't leave your side and doesn't let go of the hug,

• Her calming moments with you are when you are massaging her shoulders or lying on her lap, she always smiles stupidly when she sees your sleeping face,

• She likes to give you bracelets or flower crowns, because according to her it makes you more beautiful, as flowers make your beauty more evident.

Gatto/Aesop Carl

• It took him a while to accept being in a relationship with you,

• Don't force hugs or any other type of touch, he doesn't feel comfortable, so it's better to wait for him to ask for something like that,

• He's a bit shy so he'll always stutter when he asks you for some kind of affection, which is why he prefers not to speak, just open his arms or lay his head on your shoulder or lap, even if it makes him extremely red,

• Cat loves being on top of you, filling you with hair, it's her fault that Gatto ends up touching you even more,

• He loves it when you make him coffee or just pat him on the head, because it reminds him of things his mother used to do,

• Even with little courage, if D.M says something that doesn't please you, he will defend you because this is one of his ways of proving that you are important to him, but after D.M leaves, please, make a coffee and pat his head , he gave his all to defend you even though he was scared

White/Saphir Mélodis

• Let's be honest here, you being engaged to him hasn't changed the way he acts towards you,

• Surprise hugs, kisses on the forehead, nose and cheek, messy hair, are just some of the things he does,

• His owl likes to sleep on your head and that's extremely cute,

• Making him blush is something rare, but it is one of the cutest scenes that can exist,

• Let's face it, White is a cute romantic, so he goes out of his way to see your beautiful smile,

• He loves to affirm that he loves you, in public or in private, there is no one who can stop him from proving his love for you, even if he doesn't like kissing you in public, light caresses like kissing your forehead and stroking your hair are allowed for him in public

Hi I really like your truth and inference posts and wondering if you can do a headcanon of their reaction if reader betrays them?

As you didn't make it very clear what kind of betrayal it would be, I assumed it was related to work, as I don't feel comfortable writing about betrayal in a relationship.

Truth & Inference Responding to Betrayal

D.M/Désire Mélodis

• He wasn't surprised because he already imagined that you were working with Lady Truth and Mr. inference,

• Of course, he was very disappointed because you were the one responsible for the information,

• Business must continue, so he gave you a choice of leaking information from Mr. Inference while leaking information from him to the detective,

• Obviously he saw this as a new way to play with you and Mr. Inference,

• If you refuse to do this, then let's say it's over, after all DM will never forgive a traitor,

• But if you agree, he'll never trust you as much as he did before.

Tuberose/Jack

• To say he felt betrayed was an understatement,

• Come on, this man was your co-worker and you simply told Mr. Inference and Lady Truth about his existence,

• He can't look at your face without feeling repulsed,

• He was really very disappointed in you,

• You never went on a mission together again because he asked D.M that this never happen again,

• Congratulations, you made it to the Tuberose blacklist

Noir/Saphir Mélodis

• He already imagined something like that, he quickly realized when you started acting strange,

• He was very disappointed in you, obviously.

• He tried to make a deal, that he wouldn't tell D.M that you were betraying the Mélodis family, as long as nothing compromising was leaked,

• He didn't pretend that something like this didn't happen while you moved on, after all you betrayed his trust,

• If you don't end up accepting his deal, he won't hesitate to end you, don't take him the wrong way, he's only faithful to his brother,

• Even Leon was sad when he found out and the hawk really liked you

Gatto/Aesop Carl

• He suspected that you were slowly becoming clear about the Silent Rebel's identity,

• When D.M entered his laboratory with you by his side, everything became clear to Gatto,

• The person he trusted betrayed him by handing him over to D.M and now his life was gone,

• Cat never wanted to come near you again, neither she nor the other kittens,

• Even though the penalty that D.M gave him was light at his request, Gatto was never able to be in the same environment as you again,

• In other words, Gatto reacted in the same way as Tuberose, or even worse

Mr. Inference/Naib Subedar

• He threw a fit of rage when he found out, Lady Truth managed to calm him down,

• Come on, he never thought you would go to D.M's side even though he knew everything,

• He kicked you out of the agency even though Lady Truth begged him not to,

• The last words he said to you was to do whatever you wanted and never look for him again,

• Lady Truth was angry at Mr. Inference's overreaction, but she couldn't go against her best friend,

• It hurt him a lot when he found out about such a thing, but you had made your choice

White/Saphir Mélodis

• Congratulations, you broke it,

• When he had the vision of you cheating on him, he just felt broken,

• He had done everything to make you feel good around him and you did this to him, why?

• Owl was sad that White wouldn't let her sleep on his head or shoulder anymore,

• At first you didn't understand why he suddenly started acting like that, but when the penny dropped, you felt guilty,

• But now there was no going back, the mistake had already been made.

"I don't recall ever coming across anyone after a case. Well, aside from Tuberose. But, I would prefer to not mention their.......eccentricity."

"I would say that I was, for the most part, confused as to how someone could get that desperate for a victory. It was an...certainly strange turn of events. I wonder how long it took him to recover from those bee stings?"
