thought to myself "the ted lasso team can't be tHAt white???" as i was watching sheffield vs man city and then i went to google the team.

the amount of black players on the team vs the screentime black players get............... they have a black coach ?! i'm not paying loads of attention but like ???

#i think honestly the thing that makes me ??? with ted lasso is how we have 1 black british accent in like the entire show #jamie tartt but black could've been so interesting but noOoooOo #roy kent but black could've been incredibly interesting but........no #i know the writers are white americans but damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn #every time i watch ted lasso i then have to go watch some footballers of colour to like #balance out the universe #bc ted lasso is incredibly white but british football is not #i'm trying to stop thinking abt ted lasso but i keep seeing it on my dash #and 99% of what i'm seeing from it is white people #and i'm just always like ???? bc i associate british football with like. marcus rashford and raheem sterling #brb gonna go watch the iconic rashford lingard roomates clips and try to chill #like. ted lasso is just missing the working class flavour of colour which is everywhere in british football #and it makes me both sad and angry
