Devotee: What if we practice Krishna consciousness all our life, but at the moment of death the certain circumstances are such that we won’t be able to remember Krishna, what will happen? HH BB Govinda Swami: Krishna will help you. Lord Chaitanya will help you. And your spiritual master will help you. Just during your whole life hold on to your spiritual master, meaning, follow the instructions he gives you, means chant 16 rounds every day, don't play with the sex business, don't do other bad things. Just hold on to your Guru by doing what he tells you to do. Because that's what your Guru does to Prabhupada. Prabhupada fills him and if you're connected to your Guru then he'll fill you too. We shouldn't think that we'll get the automatic mercy treatment. Therefore we have to wake up and realize that some time has to be given for cultivating our practice. We should read Prabhupada's books, that will help you, that will give you attraction. Follow the regulative principles, chant, then there will be good chance. Very good chance. Like we were in South Africa last time, we were at Ratha Yatra, one of the old devotees, nice devotees, his name is Haridev, he came up to me and said "My mother is in the hospital few blocks from here and she is at the last moment. Please come". I said "Let's go", so we jumped into the car and went. And called few devotees with us. She was unconscious, but we all stood around her and chanted for her, so the transcendental sound would be there. If you're sincere - Krishna will never let you down. He will always help you. PART 2: OHM SERIES... Did You OM Yet? The syllable OM is an ancient Sanskrit letter first found in the Vedas, originating between 1500 – 1200 BC. A collection of Vedic Sanskrit hymns, they were sung in praise of the Divine. They were not written out at first, but were vibrated into existence using human speech. Teachings on the metaphysics of OM were later elaborated on in the Upanishads, ancient Indian mystical texts. Later, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali categorized the 8 Limbs of Yoga. The sixth of these, Dharana, meaning concentration, described various methods of supporting the mind to achieve single-focused attention. Srila Sanātana Goswami is a very vast ocean of mercy. Srila Raghunath Das Goswami prayed in that way: “I take shelter in Srila Sanātana Goswami. He made me drink the nectar of devotional service.” Then he says that nectar consists of different things, that nectar consists of vairagya and pure knowledge of Krishna’s devotional service, and he says “I didn’t want to drink it because I was too attached to the material way of life. But Srila Sanātana Goswami is so merciful that he has taken me by the neck and forcibly made me drink”. Therefore he is the ocean of mercy and our duty is to offer obeisances. So we should bow down at this place and pray for the mercy of Srila Sanātana Goswami. What is the best mercy that we can ask from him? He can give us pure strength and determination that we will never move one milimeter from the service of our spiritual masters. That the service to our Guru Maharaja will become our only business in this world. We pray so that he would give us the strength and determination to follow the orders and instructions of our Guru Maharaja.
