I can breathe a sigh of relief now. JK looks happy, healthy and thriving. I too was worried about him. And if you think about it, when JK started going live and was down in the dumps, drinking live after live, This was right when things ramped up with JM being probably more busy then he's been in a while. We had Jan starting off with Dior in Paris, then Vibe in Feb and JK came live and sang Vibe and promoted JM & it escalated from there. JM being more busy, cause Face promotions and JK coming live more often obviously emotional, but still lighting up seeing JM, still asking JM over and Still promoting JM. Promoting set me free & face and spoiling songs and compare that look to JK during when he played Letter. It was like a weight lifted. His smirk. It was out. He knew JM would be more available, still not to his liking, but enough to where they seem to be spending a lot more time together behind closed doors cause JK walking around with that post sex glow. People said we were crazy when we said that I Miss you was for JK and his Me too was for JM. So either both were cocky and assumed the I Miss You and Me Too were for the other, since they both replied to these or they were in fact meant for each other. You can still be in a relationship and still miss the hell out of your partner. I still ain't getting over JM telling JK he missed him, after seeing 10 minutes earlier. Damn stage 5 clingers. Both of them. Now JK is probably feeling the world lifted off his shoulders cause Taennie out and it frees him. He can just hang out normally with his friend now without romantic rumors. There is no turning back. Shippers may still ship, but they look even more insane, esp now that celebs and westerners have picked up on it. Like at this point, you are embrassing the hell out of yourselves still shipping TK.
I do know this is gonna be short lived and JK's promotions are coming up which is gonna take him away JM time again, then they are gonna be separated for 2 years and I feel so sorry for them, because its gonna hit them hard. If JK is missing JM just being in Seoul, but at the office. Oh man, its gonna kill him. I just hope Hybe doesn't make JM go before JK's album drops. I hope he's around to show support like JK has & be here, until and they both go around the same time. Fuck Hybe if they make JM go before JK's album. So yeah, we might be in for round 2 of sad lives from either or, once JK's promotions kick in. Just get ready.
Oh man. Why end this beautiful ask on such a sad note anon? πŸ˜” I believe they're going to be fine. For reals. JK has already had the unfortunate experience of how it feels like to be without Jimin. So this was some kind of practice if you will.
And if they enlist at the same time like I suspect, that means they will get their breaks at the same time. Hopefully. Idk how this shit works. But this is even more reason for them to enlist together.
SK continues to relax little by little on some of their homophobic laws which I am side eyeing; wondering if it ain't BTS related πŸ€” Jin and Jhope getting high rank roles also makes me wonder and gives me hope that BTS will indeed be treated differently in there. Love to see it.
I'm off topic anon, but this is your fault. I'm just trying to think how this all benefits Jikook, u know? Which is why I feel Jimin will wait for JK's album not just to support him like he always has, but also going in at the same time just works out perfectly for them. No one is inside longer than the other. U know?
Anyhu, anon, if JK changes up things, then he changes up things. And I kind of wish he would a little bit coz I wanna see his face so bad
Tumblr media
And if he brings his boyfriend with him I will not complain. Not one bit.

So like... Uhm...πŸ™ƒ Do you have any idea what that 7th chapter did to my heart???? JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS... just... I mean. I don't have words for this. AWESOME!!!!? 😭πŸ₯²πŸ˜ŽLike I started sweating somewhere halfway through the chapter because I was so nervous about what's gonna happen next.
I just LOVE YOUR WRITING OMG.😭😍 And when they started blaming each other about the envelopesπŸ§πŸ½β€β™€οΈ... I laughed a bit and then it went down hill for the M/C. My face went from πŸ˜€ to 🀑oh no.
And I had my theory about the envelope colors but oh my god I didn't expect all these twists in it.😳 I was so surprised when I found out who sent which one. But Jimin... Freaky lil boyπŸ‘€βœ¨πŸ˜Ό But I didn't expect Hoseok to drug the M/C that REalLy sUrPrisEd mE😒☹️
It was just so amazing. I loved it. I can't wait for the next chapter.
*devil smile* will there be some more drama? Or is it gonna be a little calmer this time? Even tho idk if that's even pissible anymore in the situation MCs inπŸ˜πŸ’€πŸ‘€
❀️Sorry if this is too long. (but I needed to spill my heart over thisπŸ˜‚πŸ™ƒ)
Sdjks ahh thank you so much!! πŸ€§πŸ’– Yeah, it's entertaining in a terrible way lol πŸ’€ I'm glad I could surprise you though, it's always a tiny bit more fun when you don't know exactly what's going on hehe! There was kinda no other way their meeting could end tbh with how they've been escalating, and Hoseok would've felt really pressured knowing that Y/n was trying to track her stalker down πŸ˜”
There will be no shortage of drama in the coming chapters, lol πŸ™ˆ Next chapter in particular will be a bit "calmer" in comparison though (I think?? haha). Never apologize for leaving a lovely comment, it makes me so happy!! πŸ’–

Getting Back Into the Swing of Things (part two)
Or, Namjoon falls back in love with his ex (and his boyfriends do too)
Ot7 x reader (slow burn, roommates au, fluff, jimin doesn't like you oops)
Taglist is now open! Message or send me an ask to join: @sunshinehobissunshine @pb-n-juju
You ended up coming just before dinner time the next day. The sky had darkened early, clouded over with rain at just 5 in the afternoon. It was thundering so loud, Namjoon almost didn't hear the doorbell ring.
"I'll get it!" He called out, hopping up from his seat in the living room. He took off work for this, not knowing when you'd get here but wanting to be there to welcome you. He'd have asked you how close you were through text, but it still felt too weird, even though he'd be seeing you face to face soon anyways.
Namjoon let out a shaky breath, getting ready to swing open the door. He didn't know what he would say to you after 'hello!' and 'come in!'. Luckily, that issue was forgotten about when he finally opened the door to see you soaking wet.
"Whoa!" He exclaimed, quickly ushering you in, moving aside to make space for the suitcases you had in each hand. "Did you get that soaked just from walking up from the driveway?" He grabbed your remaining bags and swung the door closed, giving you space to stand on the doormat rather than track water into the house.
"No," You sighed. "My car broke down half a mile back so I got my stuff out and walked the rest of the way." Finally somewhere warm and dry, you relaxed a bit, placing your purse on a suitcase. You had more luggage than you thought you would, or maybe your suitcases were just tiny. Mismatched and worn out from years of use, the bags carried the only remaining things you owned now.
Namjoon's face warped into shock and concern, stepping towards you and keeping himself at the last minute from touching your arm, crossing his arms instead. "What? Why didn't you tell me? I would've driven to get you--"
"It wasn't more than like ten minutes, it's fine. After that long drive, I needed to stretch my legs." You stuck out a leg as if to prove your point, done fidgeting with your things and facing him fully.
"Still though, you can't just leave your car, I can call to get it towed and repaired?"
"You can if you want, but it's a lemon anyways, it was bound to break down soon. I was trying to get a new one but well, my life's been sucky lately." A sarcastic chuckle left you, reflecting on the moments that led you here.
A long silence stretched out between you. Namjoon looked at you, really looked at you. Your warm brown eyes were still the same after all these years, tired but still comforting, or maybe Namjoon just missed them that much. He felt he was suffocating under the weight of all he wanted to say. He thought about what he might do, might say when he saw you again and now he was blanking.
You were even prettier than he remembered, the static image of you smiling in the sunlight incomparable to the way you looked now, even wet and miserable, with water rolling down your cheeks, flushed from the cold.
Footsteps approached. "Was it them at the door?" Jin called, entering the foyer, drying his hands on a kitchen towel. Jin's eyes landed on you, and if Namjoon hadn't known him so well he wouldn't have noticed the slight shock on his face. "So it was. Nice to meet you, I'm Seokjin." Jin tucked the towel into a random pocket on his apron that had 'Kiss the Cook' spelled out across it, and stuck his hand out for a shake.
Namjoon watched your eyebrows raise in surprise and remembered he didn't exactly mention how many people he lived with. "I'm Y/n, it's so nice to meet you, thank you so much for letting me stay here, I'm so sorry for any disturbance I've caused." You rambled on, bowing repeatedly, and Jin had to physically grab your shoulder to stop you.
"Honey, it's fine, okay? You're important to Namjoon, so you're important to us. Now, come eat, I'm sure you've come a long way. Do you like kimchi fried rice or lamb skewers?" Jin smiled, trying to be welcoming, and led you down the hallway by the hand still on your shoulder.
Jin wasn't expecting much out of this guest. Namjoon had described them as an old friend. He hadn't mentioned that they were a girl or that they would be coming with what had to be at least a month or two's worth of clothing. He didn't mention that they were gorgeous either, hair curling more from the rain and nose round and cute.
You had soft eyelashes that seemed to flutter everytime you blinked, and even with your clothes being soaked through, you were still warm under Jin's palm. Jin blinked, suddenly realizing you were dripping wet.
"Oh my goodness, you're totally soaked. Let me show you to your room first and you can freshen up, dinner won't be ready for a while anyways. It's just this way."
Jin showed you your room, plain and underdecorated, but still dripping with class, and told you to take your time. When you eventually walked out, deciding there was no more freshening to be done, you try to retrace your steps to the kitchen Jin was leading you to before.
Looking around the house as you did so, you realized the large estate was decidedly not decorated by Namjoon. Not entirely anyway. There were touches here and there. A lopsided clay duck. Rustic wood paneling accents that reminded you of the old tree house Namjoon and you used to go to when you wanted your parents to leave you alone.
(You wonder if he thought of that when he saw these too.)
But mostly it was all different from his tastes. It almost looked uncoordinated. A bright pink wall here. A dark green reading nook there. Black and white accents and minimalist furniture contrasted with the sprawling mess of knickknacks across the fireplace. It looked lived in.
Home.
Not yours, but it'll be comfy in the meantime. You've never been particularly partial to any one type of decor anyways.
You eventually found the kitchen, one of the only not cluttered spaces, a large clean sleek area, outfitted with the newest in kitchen technology. Your old apartment had a white fridge and an oven with stubborn oil stains.
"Hey. You're back! We were just waiting on you." The man from earlier greeted, turning away from a pot on the stove. Seokjin? "Everything is ready but the pie, I'm just watching it. If you wanna go out and take a seat, you can, I'll bring out all the food in a moment." He smiled warmly at you, a wave of domestic energy rolling off him with the apron and the flour marks on his cheeks. When he turned back around to look at the oven, you could see a flour handprint on the butt of his grey sweats.
Just past that was the dining room, where more people were seated. It was filled with people, all sitting and laughing. Another tall man, much more baby faced, with hair half tied back that fluttered over his eyes, was rushing back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room. He was wearing an identical apron to to the man who had escorted you earlier, except on his, someone had taken a black marker and crossed out the C, replacing it with a K so it now said 'Kiss the Kook'.
"Oh," someone finally took notice of you, waving a hand high above his head in welcome. "Hi there! Come in, sit, we were just about to eat!" The man smiled, and you were sure if a sunflower could talk, you were looking right at it.
Everyone turned to you as you did so, realizing their guest was finally here. And like usual, you tried to ignore the attention, ducking your head and averting your eyes as you slipped into the room.
It hadn't slipped your notice that every person here was gorgeous. They were all in casual lounge wear, although you could recognize the designer labels' logos, and looked like models even in just shirts and sweatpants. It didn't surprise you that Namjoon found equally gorgeous people to surround himself with.
There was someone though, soft and yet sharp looking, staring you down from across the table. "It's nice to finally meet Namjoon's friend," they smiled, eyes turning into cute half moons, but it felt inauthentic. "I'm Jimin, Namjoon's boyfriend. Hah, well, we're all Namjoon's boyfriends." He chuckled, turning away to play with Namjoon's hair, then cutting his eyes back to you.
Huh.
You were thrown off, not by the six boyfriends thing, because honestly who wouldn't want six hot boyfriends, but more by the feeling that he was... staking his claim? In a way. The all-too-casual mentioning of him being Namjoon's and the hostility behind that smile was off-putting, but you smiled back anyways, as genuine as you could.
"That's fantastic, I'm so glad you all have each other. Your house is lovely as well, you can really tell that while all your tastes are different they really mesh." You gestured vaguely to the room past the doorway, trying to bring the conversation back to neutral ground.
"Y/nie was going to school for design." Namjoon smiled warmly, mentioning to the rest of the people in the kitchen for context. "What was it, fashion? Interior?"
"Both. But, uh, I didn't finish." You rolled a curl of your hair around your finger.
"A pity." Jimin said, no sympathy in his tone at all.
"I like fashion too," a man next to you piped up, his voice much deeper than you expected for someone with such a youthful energy. "And design. I'm glad you like the house, me and Jiminie did a lot of it. Did you like the paintings in front?" He blinked at you, like he was trying see past your skin into your soul.
You nodded excitedly. "I did, they're so gorgeous. Was I hallucinating or was that an authentic Kusama?"
His face lit up when he smiled. "It was! It was a gift from my parents, they're art curators." He said proudly.
"That's incredible, even so, aren't pieces like that, like, thousands of dollars?"
"Well, that's not hard for us to come by." Jimin interjected, sipping from a wine glass. Namjoon elbowed him, silently hissing at him to be nice.
The conversation halted. You took a sip from your water after a long silence. Well, that confirmed one thing. Jimin definitely didn't like you.
The man next to you discreetly poked your side. "I'm Taehyung." He whispered, but it was still loud, diffusing the awkward tension. You nodded to serve as a 'nice to meet you', a small smile slipping out.
The man across from you piped up. "Ah, if we're doing introductions, I'll go next. I'm Jung Hoseok, but you might know me better as J-Hope!"
You blinked.
"Pfft," a snicker from across the table. A pale man with jet black hair was laughing at the failed introduction, leaning into Namjoon's other side as if it was only natural. "She definitely has no idea who any of us are. Most of our fans would've fainted by now. Tell me, what's my name?" He turned to you smugly, eyebrow raised in challenge.
You opened your mouth then closed it again, and then finally said. "Yeah, no, you're right. I have no idea. Are you guys famous or something?"
"Kind of. Hoseokie, or Hobi, as we call him, is a pretty well known dancer and rapper, he co-owns a dance studio with Jimin downtown called Hope World that has tons of members. It's regarded as pretty prestigious." Namjoon explained to you.
"It is prestigious," Jimin cut in. "We only train the best dancers."
"Buuuuut, we're thinking about opening up some beginners classes. And, the man at the end is Min Yoongi, he's a pretty famous producer, he and Joonie co-own Genius Labs Records." Hoseok praised, reaching over Jimin to slap Namjoon on the back.
"Ohh, I've heard of that, your music is incredible." You gushed. You really did think so, like you said, you knew about Namjoon's success and some of your old friends really loved them, and one would always gush to you about Genius Labs being the inspiration for their music.
"I know." The man at the end-- Yoongi, you corrected yourself-- said nonchalantly, though his cheeks had begun to take up a blush.
You laughed at that, the duality not being something you expected, but you were slowly but surely putting together the personalities of the people you were going to be living with.
They all seemed so kind, you hated inconveniencing them like this. You could even understand where Jimin's hostility was coming from, having to share a house with some random person because your boyfriend said so would drive you crazy, too.
From now on, you would make sure to not disturb them or their usual routine. You just needed a place to eat and sleep, no need to bother them too.
"Alright, dishes are ready!" Jin said, coming into the kitchen with the other man trailing behind him, both of their arms stocked up with dishes.
"Ah, you know Jin, but this is Jungkookie." Namjoon caught the doe eyed boy by the apron, patting his arm.
"Hi," he mumbled, rushing back into the kitchen, barely glancing at you.
"He's our baby, he's 25 now, but I still remember when he was 16 and eating all my food." Jin added, dramatically sliding into the seat at the end of the table, and next to you. When Jungkook came in again, done rushing around, he settled in next to Taehyung, a seat away from you.
"Wow, if he's a baby at 25, what does that make me? I'm 24." You giggled.
"Really?"
"Oh yeah, but you're turning 25 soon right? In December? She's only a couple months younger than Jungkook." Namjoon explained.
"Really? You're younger than I am?" Jungkook tilted his head forward to look at you past Taehyung.
"I guess she should be calling you oppa," Yoongi joked. "She'd be the first."
"I'm only a couple months younger."
"Does she even speak Korean?" Jimin asked, staring at you dubiuosly.
"I do actually. I'm half Korean, on my mothers side."
Jimin hummed at that, paying more attention to his plate than anything you said.
People had started serving themselves, but you, too unsure to take some until everyone had taken some first, sat quietly. Jin noticed and grabbed your plate for you, telling it was fine and he'd make sure you 'got all the good stuff'.
"So, tell us your story, how do you and Namjoon know each other?" Hobi, a fitting name for the living sunflower, said excitedly.
"Oh, we're just old friends," you shrugged. You figured it would be best to skip the tragic-- if you could call it that-- love story between you and him in front of his boyfriends. "We grew up together."
"Really? Joon's never mentioned you." Jimin said, biting into a baby carrot. He didn't see to be someone who shied away from eye contact, staring you down.
"I wouldn't be surprised, we didn't really leave off on the best terms." You said, dancing around the topic again.
"Really, why?" Jimin didn't give you a second to rest.
"We had a falling out." More avoidance as you watched Jin load up your plate.
"That's way too vague, come on. What really happened?" He gave another fake smile, picking up that there was a reason that you were uncomfortable talking about.
"We broke up." Namjoon finally said.
Jimin dropped the baby carrot, and you watched it roll away on the floor and wished you could do the same.
"Oh? You two were... something? Again sorry for being so confused, Namjoon really hasn't said a thing about you." Venom poured out of his tone at this point, and you were really just wondering about how to deescalate the situation.
"Jimin please." Namjoon said, grabbing his hand.
"I'm just stating a fact--"
"Its fine, honestly. It was mutual, we weren't really good for each other and I was moving away. Sometimes relationships just end." You added, trying to show everyone just how little your past relationship with Namjoon matters now.
Well, to him anyways.
"Annnyways! You never answered me earlier, do you like lamb skewers? They're Jungkook and Yoongi's favorites." Jin added, loading extra onto your plate.
You eagerly hopped on the attempt to change the topic. "Yes, I do, and they look delicious. I can't wait to try them!"
The rest of the dinner passed somewhat awkwardly, even after the subject was changed. You had tried to join the conversation but Jimin would always stop talking after you said anything so you just stopped and listened. Honestly, it was more enjoyable than you thought.
They guys got along really well together, conversation flowed like a well oiled machine, everyone knew just what to say at the right time. They really were perfect for each other.
You finished dinner and silently excused yourself, Jin and Namjoon tried to get you to stay and everyone else insisted that it was fine-- well, not everyone-- but you really were exhausted.
You bid everyone goodnight, and laid down in the most comfortable bed you've slept in a while, and promptly knocked out.
