y’all ever rewatch hawayek & baker’s absolutely sublime Chopin free dance and just cry a little (or a lot) at how beautiful it is? highly recommend
#i truly run out of words to describe this program tbh#i've seen it called intimate/transcendent/like it suspends time/like it makes you hold your breath#johnny called it haunting and ghostlike in his nationals commentary#it is truly all of those things and more#i'm so upset that they're underrated/underscored#but more than that just so overwhelmingly grateful#that i got to watch live (not in person sadly but still)#as they laid out a piece of art that will stay with me for years if not a lifetime#figure skating#hawayek and baker#my post#v speaks
