I guess the idea of angel getting what he has wanted but it happens in a fucked up way is an interesting way of continuing the angel story from its tv ending but from what I heard about angel’s arc in the buffy s8 comics it’s just what happened to cordelia but it’s angel as the mythic pregnancy host instead
