I am on total #supermommode β€’ This morning had a lot of hiccups. While I was ready to leave to go to the gym, I had to rescue hubby after having a flat tire on his bike. I’m so glad I didn’t have to drive all the way to the city to get him although he was 5 mins away from the GWB. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ So workout was stalled for a bit and I decided to hit the #garagegym with the kiddies and workout together! So happy I had this group of great people doing #100situpsadaychallenge - Before this was- EMOM 12 - 1 power snatch Then: every 4 mins, complete -200m run -21 chest to bar pull ups (I did 10) -15 hang power cleans (75#) I scaled my pull ups because my traps were super tight and it was causing my right trap to cramp up. Sundays class was AWESOME!! They allowed me to adjust their form while they were in the zone. They allowed me to push them when they rolled their eyes to me. It is so so cold outside. I needed to warm up really well. It takes a little longer to warm up then usual when temps are this low. Deadlifts was prescribe today. Building up each set. 3x8 and 1 set by 8 with 90% off your heaviest. Metcon: 10 min time cap - Ascending ladder of Deadlifts and chest to bar. 1- deadlift 125# 1- chest to bar Then 2, 3 and so on. Today’s WOD- Strength - strict press 4x8 each set add weight until fourth set, drop weight 90% off your heaviest. - Metcon: 16 min time cap AMRAP -20 toes to bar -20 DB snatches (alternating) -7 bar muscle up ( assisted) -20 Double dB cleans -20 double dB front rack walking lunges. In the start my body was still cold. My toes didn’t even touch the bar. (Another reason why I hate the cold Weather). By the second round I was warm enough to get my toes to touch the bar.
