I am not a fan of Joker whatsoever (with the exception of Heath Ledger's version) - mainly because he abuses and manipulates Harley Quinn in so many twisted ways. Joker is just eew. I am however a very big fan of Harley (real OG from the animated Batman series from the 90's). Everyone can see the clear compatibility of Harley and Deadpool (red and black and crazy AF). To make things perfect, I cosplay with my own "romantic interest" and she loves to wear Harley; I wear Deadpool. Her crazy matches my crazy so we mashup them into an endless duo of cosplays. She (my romantic interest), was so stoked about the concept of Jokerpool that I just had to create him. Doesn't matter what genre, these two characters can mashup and teamup effortlessly.

At first, I never thought I would ever venture into the hobby. It was too "loud" for my taste - it drew too much attention to the introvert loner type I normally am, but seeing these awesome people and their own builds inspired me to try...and I'm so glad I did because it's EASY (for the most part). It was intimidating at first but YouTube is your best friend in learning the basics. Eventually, I developed my own hacks and I just wing it now. I found myself really getting lost in the zone - problem solving right there in the moment - just always in the creative mindset. I build my favorite characters and wear them with pride. I make them better. I make them my own. I'm inspired by others and in turn, I inspire others as well. You meet others with the same passion and you just click. It's the best part - finding your tribe.
