oki muse nile now so i can say this on the rp blog instead of on main: i'm absolutely taken aback at the fact that nile doesn't even properly appear in the chapter that is literally named for him (joy ANGER sorrow fun) until the last, uh, 15 pages or so? he is the last named character to appear in the chapter in general and has very little screentime considering what could have been done. it also didn't delve nearly as much as it should have into nile's issues with seeing his own face but i digress, i would have been happy for more nile screentime in general. i liked what we got, though. i had no memory of his absolute refusal to let fil turn herself in to the villagers and i was delighted by that, as well as the fact that he spent all the time he wasn't sleeping in the castle playing with the horses.
