ok silly blorbo nonsense time. gable made a couple references to being a parent figure to jonnit and i was like hm this kinda reminds me of baird and ezekiel from librarians! like baird basically raises him in that alternate timeline. but i thought, man that’s so wonky bc ezekiel’s the thief w a very secret heart of gold… idk if that’s jonnit…

k i just lost the train of thought i had thinking about immortals. u can’t even easily map some1 onto jenkins’ immortal role bc we’ve got more than one! i guess the natural instinct would be to make him travis bc he’s a refined grouch? his academics are almost more dref tho.. and no one listens to him… i guess there’s always charlene and judsen. wait was charlene the first guardian?? maybe gable would make a good charlene.. they did make a good quartermaster! bet they saved their receipts lol. i Have been rather thinking them as baird but idk baird’s just the best fighter

…which brings me to my perhaps silliest idea for this au, (and mind you, if anyone has any idea what i’m saying atp, that i’m only on ep61) flynn as the captain! just imagine like ok. The Librarian dies. and for handwavey reasons the Library doesn’t just hire a new one, and the LITs (or whatever our au equivalents of the cast are) go around pretending they’re just proxies and flynn is still alive and easily EASILY there’s smth in the library for whatever necromancy they want.

(maybe spit as the library??? that’s awful. he’s kind of a narrative tool to give the MCs tasks? he could be a rly unfortunate clippings book?)

i guess that only leaves me with three somewhat concrete castings lol. has anyone done skyjacks x leverage? that’d be a hoot
